My wife and I had a great trip to Exotikite Kiteboarding school. I have been to three other schools in Mexico and Hawaii. These guys are the best place I have found to take lessons. With what feels like endless beaches and great consistent wind, Los Barriles sets the stage for and epic place to learn. Exotikite has the best instructors I have taken lessons from, as well as some of the best equipment. They put radios on our helmets so they can continue giving instruction the entire time the students are in the water. They also have vehicles on the beach to take you upwind to maximize your upwind time with the instructors. We will be coming back!

Hi. After retiring from the corporate life, I went back to teaching yoga like I did in my 20s. Now I’ve been teaching classes on my outdoor patio in Mexico for 11years. My style is gentle and accessible to most yogis, including many beginners. I also host retreats under the palms, which include yoga plus personal and spiritual development seminars.

A Touch of Magic by Claudia

The best massages for coulples in Cancun area.

Reviewed By Steve_missy - Philadelphia, United States

My wife and I spent half a day with Claudia 2 weeks ago while visiting Cancun. Claudia's workshop was about a 40 minute ride from our resort. I could have taken a taxi, bus or hooked up with USA Transfers but instead we accepted an offer by Claudia to pick us up and drop us off in her own car. It was great immediately we got to know each other. She was even kind enough to point out great spots for us to visit and eat at that along the way to her studio. She is a wealth of information. The ride with her alone was well worth what we paid her for the transportation. I have to tell you what she charged was less than all three of the other options and so much better. Once we arrived at our studio, Claudia switched gears and started connecting spiritually to my wife and I. In a short amount of time she taught us breathing techniques and how to deal with some difficult situations life throws at us. Hopefully the lesson will strengthen our relationship. Oh, Claudia also introduced us to some tantra techniques. Again, it was an amazing experience. Beyond that lesson she then proceeded to give my wife and I an truly memorable message. It was one that we will always remember as she showed us both techniques on how to perform a mind blowing massage. At one point there were four hands on each other during each of our massages. All the time the lesson and message were tasteful, respectful, loving and beyond imagination. By the way, prior to meeting Claudia my wife was somewhat apprehensive. But believe me in no time Claudia had all of our trust and respect; we were both truly captivated. My wife said that she felt her body truly elevated. Me, I just melted away! We will be returning to to Riviera Maya November 30th. Claudia already has us penciled in for December 2nd. I guarantee you and your mate will enjoy this massage and lesson more than any you can find at any resort or spa. The massage truly connects your mind body and soul. And the best part is you share it with your mate 100%. Thank you Claudia see you soon xo

Lily welcomed us into her home and made us feel like friends. We learned how to cook authentic Mexican dishes (including guacamole the old Aztec way!) that were DELICIOUS and we had so much fun. She was a great teacher and gave us the recipes (and more) to take home with us. The techniques she shows can be applied to many Mexican dishes. This was such a unique experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My family of four ( my husband and sons 25 and 21) just returned from our first visit to Mexico City. We unanimously agreed that our day with Beto and Jorge was one of our best vacation days ever! The day started with Jorge leading the group of 8 on a tour of a local market- that was both educational and delicious. We learned about the incredients we would cook and sampled amazing local specialties. Jorge then led us back to Casa Jacaranda, stopping along the way to sample tortillas and chocolate. Next stop- the breathtakingly beautiful home of Beto and Jorge. They are masterful chefs and teachers who engaged everyone in the group, ensuring that we each played a key part in preparing the meal. Hours later we sat down for cocktails, home made tacos and other appetizers. We then moved to their beautiful terrace to enjoy the feast we prepared with perfectly paired wine and great conversation! This experience was so much more than a cooking class- it is a unique opportunity to experience the hospitality, warmth and wit of Beto and Jorge who make you feel very quickly like old friends!

Had a wonderful experience with Rosie and her family. Shopped at markets with locals and took our groceries to Rosie’s home. Met Rosie’s wonderful family. (This alone was worth the price we paid!). Then we learned to cook (and eat!) chicken and poblano tamales, red and green salsa, homemade corn tortillas, and bread pudding (and we a few other tastings)! The day cooking with Rosie was a highlight of our trip! Highly recommend!
