I'm Chef Instructor at BrassWok Thai Cooking Studio, Cherngtalay. Our normal classes are held there, 15 minutes from Kamala, for 2-6 students per class only. But for one on one, private lesson, you can also choose to learn at my private home kitchen. The class will be tailored to your request and conducted in a home environment, where I cook daily for my family. After reading great reviews I booked a Friday market tour and cooking class for my Mum, sister and I, and we were not disappointed! Pui picked us up and took us on a great market tour where we got to try many local and fresh fruits, traditional Thai breakfast foods including coconut pancake and iced coffee and tea. After buying a few ingredients it was off to cook in a fully air conditioned modern kitchen, which was perfect as we were still adjusting to the humidity and heat! After learning how to make and store our own curry paste, we made 2 curries, pad Thai and delicious mango sticky rice dessert. Hands down the best red curry and pad Thai we have ever tried! It was great to learn you can make a big batch of curry paste and freeze to use whenever you want, which means I can take these recipes home and actually use them for quick week night dinners. I would recommend to anyone wanting an authentic Thai cooking experience, you will be surprised how easy it is for you to make these delicious dishes at home! Muk and her Cook gave me a very private cooking class just for myself because of my short stay in Phuket in a very friendly way. Everything was well organised and understandable. There was time for all the questions I had and the two dishes, salad and desert were adapted to my preferences and tasted so amazing that I found a new passion. The „leftovers“ for me to take home will give me another delicious meal tomorrow and I got a booklet with our recepies to be able to practice by myself. Well worth the money. Thank you for the inspiration.

I've been here 2 years in a row. The second time I visited Thailand was just to get suits. Heck for the cost of 1 custom suit in the US, you can get 10 here. I get compliments everywhere I go. Headed back next month for my 3rd time.
