My whole family enjoyed half a day at The 'Block. My wife and I enjoyed a four hour class preparing four beef dishes and our daughters enjoyed a two hour class preparing fresh pasta. Our chef-instructor Mario was great...very knowledgeable, but always explained what we were doing and why in an easy-to-understand, entertaining manner. What is better than cooking four meals under the watchful eye of people who know what they are doing and then eating what you have cooked? I know...some adult beverages available for purchase while you cook! It was a great time! Whether you are an experienced home cook who just wants to learn something new or just need to learn something, this is the place to do it.

We went for lunch. It was crowded but enjoyable. Even in Italy I've never seen so many Italian food items for sale. In the middle of this bounty, are cozy, specialized eating areas--pasta, pizza, gelato, ,pastries and more. Wonderful!

Starting with the old school ambiance when you step inside you know you are in for a treat. The house Italian salad is a must try while waiting on your pizza to cook. The tangy house dressing was simply outstanding The house special deep dish is by far the best pizza I have ever ate. Full of flavor and cooked to perfection The service was 5 star plus. They offer a great attention to detail often missed these days
