We spent most of our time in shops, although we had expected more emphasis on buildings, furniture, and other forms of design art. The tour guide did not have a sign or other visible indication that he was with Happy Guide Helsinki. His information from the company indicated he only had one tour group rather than two. He therefore ignored us and we had to interrupt his discussion with the other two people to determine whether he was our tour guide, which was rather surprising considering this type of miscommunication had apparently occurred at least once before. Otherwise the guide was perfectly pleasant.

I have two problems with this tour from Levi. I recently took this tour with my fiance for our honeymoon. We spent the full 8hrs and payed the $600. although the tour was detailed and the ride was amazing i really dont see why it costs so much! My friend took another tour for only $100 and they told me how they got the exact same experience visiting all the same places. Levi get yo mind right and put an acceptable price for this your just ripping off %90 of your customers

Pick up was on-time at 10:00am from a downtown hotel. Tour guide (Ray) was pleasant and informative. The first two hours covered local sites around Helsinki by van with several stops to walk around (Sibelius Park, Modern Library and two prominent churches). We had about 45 minutes for lunch on our own before taking the ferry to Suomenlinna fortress. We spent about 90 minutes walking around the fortress before boarding the ferry back to Helsinki, arriving at the dock by 3:15pm where the tour ended. There was no ride back to the hotel, but we were only several blocks away. A few good things to know about the tour. The morning was flexible and we changed plans several times as we found churches in-service. Also, it is a pretty long walk at the fortress over rough cobblestone. The weather in February was cold, so wearing good shoes and warm clothes (coat, hat, gloves, etc.) is a must. Overall it was a very good tour and a great way to get our bearings in Helsinki on our first day in town.

Best of Helsinki Panoramic Group tour. ULKO tours If this was the best of Helsinki like the tour title describes,  Helsinki doesn't have much. We saw the church in the rock, very different,  the open market, okay for fruits,  vegetables,  and souvenirs and the music center,  not sure why, and the town square, and a "monument "to a composer which looked like a bunch of organ pipes stuck together. Drove by a few buildings. Not much else. Guide was okay. No internet on van.

I used SPB and the tours through Norwegian cruise line and I much prefer SPB. They used audio receiver and headphones so we could still hear our guide Peter anywhere. This allowed me to take pictures and not miss out on information. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites. Initially I was worried about missing the cruise ship using an independent tour group, but they are very well organized and always aware of the time
