Grandview Cemetery

Reviewed By scottofhawaii - Honolulu, United States

...if my spending more time here than any other place in Johnstown is more a statement about me than it is of the cemetery itself. I always go to the marquee cemetery of any city I visit. This one is real nice. It was also a beautiful fall day with some trees raging in autumn colors against perfectly manicured lawns and graves. A very nice cemetery to walk around and get some good exercise and be in a community where you can be sure that all residents are COVID-free. There were less than a handful of visitors here, and they were easy to dodge. They got some kind of walking tour signs going on. I didn't see a brochure outside the main office to explain what I was looking at each of the numbered stops. I wish they would've put it online so I could of learned more than I did. The unmarked 700 graves of the flood victims is quite striking.

Historic Brush Creek Cemetery

Wow, the cemetery is very old back to 1700's. A nice quiet place to take a morning walk on a summers day.
