What better way to take in the uniqueness of the beaches at Cape San Blas than by horseback? Our forgotten coast boasts being one of the only remaining vacation destinations in the country which allows our visitors to enjoy horseback riding on the beach. A relaxing ride next to the waves of the gulf is just another way to experience the laid back atmosphere of our area. We set our pace to the rhythm of the waves that wash ashore while taking it all in... the seashell showered beaches, colorful sunsets and on lucky days we even see happy dolphins playing! Also, there are plenty of photo opportunities during your ride.

This was my daughter's childhood dream fulfilled. We were booked in 2013 but unfortunately rained out. AMAZING ride with quiet well seasoned horses. Views can't be beat! Not too many places you can ride horses on the beach in the US. Book early, they fill up fast! And pay for the photo package to preserve your memories ❤

Cape San Blas

If you want loud nightclubs, don't come to Cape San Blas. If you want to stay in a high-rise condo, don't come here. If you want to eat overpriced seafood at a different place every night and buy a T shirt while you're there, the Cape isn't the place for you. If you like crowded beaches to check out chicks in bikinis, this is not your place. Cape San Blas offers a much slower pace. There aren't many restaurants close by, there are no high-rises, and you won't fight crowds, either on the beach or on the highway. The Cape is for families who enjoy spending time at the beach building sand castles, or maybe older couples who enjoy strolling the beach while looking for shells, or even younger couples who are done with the party scene. The beaches are beautiful, the people are friendly, and you'll find plenty to do. Just know what you are getting, and what you are not.

Wow wow wow! This took me back many years when a Beach was a Beach. When a shop had so many cool things in it but not cheap items. Classy beach items in BOTH stores. The rentals are to die for. The views are fantastic. I was on Cove Road overlooking the bay. If you need a reset, a rewind or just a reminder of the awe of Cape San Blas give this quaint area its’ due. Above and beyond our expectations. Amazing!!!!!! We will be back as often as my car can head that way!
