With 3 children (now 13,11,11) we’ve seen our share of animal parks from big to small, mainstream to random. This would be one of the best, so clean & tidy, modern buildings, well maintained, healthy animals and lush green grass. The animals were even hungry enough to eat the bagged food we purchased on entry. Great spot to give the kids some freedom to explore. I’d suggest packing a picnic or some sausages & bread to use the bbq facilities (once again appealing & clean), grab a bottle of wine (available in the cafe) enjoy the view while the kids feed the kangaroos. Had fun on the Segway your through the vines & paddocks too. A fun few hours.

Quirky and full of fascinating local boating history. Much more than just about Alex and his friend Frank. A tool nerds dream and a wonderfully diverse collection of boats of various sizes and types and in different states of renovation. Run by volunteers it was great to see them dusting and polishing - the exhibits were very clean given their nature - not sneeze inducing at all. The living quarters and personal mementos from Alex and Frank’s lives added an extra point of interest.
