Wow, this massive garden park has so much you could come back a dozen times and still not see everything. so easy to book Had great trip on ferry.. Really interesting being told exactly where we were and all about the places we were passing Lovely trip on island bus Got on and off when i wanted too Lovely meal in cafe when i got back.Walked around the shops and along the beeches and took pictures og the island and of course The Quokkas Lovely Ferry trip back

Very instructive and educational visit, lots of references on the history of WA gold rush, you can watch a live gold pour, touch a gold bullion, see some of the most beautiful gold nuggets I´ve ever seen on display. Nice visit and appropriate duration and calibrated content.

We arrived before the park opened but you are still allowed in. We saw amazing wading birds, pelicans and others. Also vivid blue wrens. The koala walk was great too and enabled us to see these animals in close proximity. Well tended gardens made for a lovely early morning walk.

One of the best beaches in Perth . Not far from city centre . Nice restaurants and bars in a line in front of the beach . There is a good sizr children playground in front of the beach and a few mins of walk there is a huge outdoor pool right in front of the beach , in case you rather want to swim there . Over the weekend there are lifeguards on duty at beach . There is a hotel in front of the beach if you wanna stay over night and parking is ok ,

I really enjoyed the WA Maritime Museum, and would happily add it to a lost of 'Must do' things for Perth/Fremantle. It's a very reasonable entry price and the range and layout of the exhibits is very well done. The building it'self is also architecturally impressive and adds to the experience. HMAS Ovens is an Oberon Class submarine of the Royal Australian Navy next to the WA Maritime Museum and you access it by booking a tour, which is an additional cost to the museum entry fee. The tour last about 90mins and I'd advise you were comfortable, warm clothing and footwear. It's not suitable for people with less than minor mobility restrictions, or for large framed people, as you'll be climbing up and down steep ladders and squeezing through narrow entry points and doorways. I really enjoyed the tour, as the guide was a former Navy serviceman and was extremely knowledgeable and ready with answers to any questions.

My wife and I visited Caversham as part of a day tour around the Perth area. As it was an organised tour, we experienced several supervised encounters as part of our visit. Perhaps the best was the time spent in the large kangaroo enclosure, with a a great number of very friendly and relaxed kangaroos, who we were able to feed. Our visit also included other animal encounters, including koalas and a farming presentation. Caversham is a beautiful, spacious, well laid out and maintained park with well cared for animals in spacious, natural enclosures. We only had about two hours here, but could easily have spent at least half a day to thoroughly explore and enjoy this beautiful park. Don't rush your visit - allow plenty of time!

We had Chris for our True Crime Tour and Janine for our Torch Light tour which were both really good and worth doing. The True Crime tour talks about crimes committed but does not go in to too much detail and therefore is not gross. If you want to hear more about the Claremont case I can recommend the Crime Junkie pod cast which has an episode on the case... This does however go in to a fair amount of detail and would not be recommended for under 16s. The Torch Light tour is good and a very different experience again. A little scary at times but great fun and interesting history on the place.

John Forrest National is a great family location for hiking, bike riding and a lovely picnic spot. We visited in a beautiful spring day and on foot travelled to the old train tunnel.. A fun spot to explore with young children. The entry fee is per car around $16. For entry. You can purchase food from the kiosk or take your own as plenty of parking and picnic spots on offer.

Safe beach, huge range of bars, restaurants, shops (good prices too - bought a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses that were cheaper than the internet price!) Parking is free, safe and there's plenty of it. Great spot for a trip - and remember to fit in AQWA! ????
