My friends and I booked the Saturday 1:00pm tour. (Book your tickets ahead of time; they fill up!) We had a great time sampling different beers and learning about the history of the brewery. We stayed afterwards to enjoy the beautiful weather, our favorite beers, and a quick bite at the food truck (Bite into Maine) that parks right outside. They have an outstanding lobster grilled cheese.

Kudos to Milford's native brewery. Amazing beers with great staff and atmosphere. Kid and pet friendly and place a great vibe that just makes you happy. There are so many breweries now but this one has a charm that is different, you just to go there and experience it, you will not be disappointed. Staff is great, Erin, Alexa, Jake and Isaac are so friendly and accommodating to everyone's needs. And did I mention the IPA's. Damn are so good. My favorite is Tank Space, Benji, I been juicing, Citra, Goodie bag to name a few.

Shipyard Brewing Company

Shipyard Brewing Company is a family owned brewery - rooted in tradition and brimming with innovation. Our award-winning beer is handcrafted by our team of brewers who learned their art from world-renowned master brewer, Alan Pugsley. We are committed to cultivating a new generation of creative, passionate brewers. Our team is constantly exploring innovative and diverse styles of beer through our pilot system at our Portland brewery and our 7-barrel system at Federal Jack's Brew Pub in Kennebunk Harbor. Established in 1994, this family-run brewery set up shop in what was once a maritime foundry on the waterfront of Portland. Starting with our flagship Export Ale, we've produced over 65 handcrafted, traditional beers in the heart of this vibrant Maine community.

Located on Portland’s East End this is a neat brewery located in an old building that used to manufacture railroad rails. They have about 10 beers on tap and they are numbered. If you want to try a beer flight you read the beer description and write on a chalkboard what number you want to try under each flight glass hole on your paddle....an ingenious idea. The Export was my favorite and I was told that was their original beer. I don’t think they have food here as we brought pizza in from Micucci’s.....see my review. They have great service and a really friendly atmosphere....they also have board games you can play. They have a gift area where you can buy brewery swag. The restrooms are large and clean. They are building a “brewtel” next door which will be a very convenient place to stay so you can drink all the beer you want and don’t have to worry about getting home or to your hotel.

Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tours

Reviewed By GrnMtnGirl79

We really enjoyed this tour. The tour of the brewery itself went quickly and wasn't particularly interesting though we did learn about the history of Anheuser-Busch company and enjoy walking through their facilities briefly. Then we went to the tasting room and waited in a line and were given a choice of 10-12 beers (many were specialty beers, similar to a craft beer experience, and not just a lineup of basic products most consumers would associate with this brand). We enjoyed sipping our beers and then made our way out to the gift shop. We enjoyed the gift shop a lot with a variety of gifts for lots of people in your life as well as souvenirs to take home from your experience. Finally we visited the clydesdale horses. We had seen some of them all hooked up to a carriage pulling a couple employees around when we arrived. They are so big and beautiful. We've seen them in parades before but today we got to see them up close, pulling a carriage, being washed and groomed, munching hay in their personalized stalls, and socializing together in the field. It was a really nice day and we enjoyed looking around for a couple hours as a pit stop on a road trip. Free tour Free parking

Otter Creek Brewing

NOTE: As of March 16th, Otter Creek Brewing will be closed in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Please check our social media channels for updates related to re-opening. In 2015 we broke ground on a brand new, 120-barrel brew house. This state-of-the-art facility will expand our capacity and allow us to deliver more of our deliciously dank beers to bottles, cans and kegs everywhere. On the heels of upgrades to our packaging and production facilities, our brand new, mid-century inspired digs reflect the commitment we've made to our brand and the collective creative juices that keep our brewery running. We invite you to join us on our cosmic journey of craft, with live music every Friday evening and a fresh American BBQ-inspired menu from our smoker to pair with delicious Vermont beers. Note: At this time we do not offer tours at our facility.

My better half and I were in VT for our 10th anniversary in October. I love beer and we enjoy stopping at local breweries. We hit OCB on our first afternoon. It is an awesome place. Of course, they have great beer, but the staff (especially Ben) really put the experience over the top. We were not hungry at the time we arrived so I cannot comment on the food. However, everything we saw others eating looked good. The beer, as I said was awesome. I am an IPA drinker and was not disappointed. The Berner hit all my IPA buttons. The hoppier the better for me and it had that, but also had great haziness and finished with nice citrus hints. My wife did a flight initially. She really liked a peanut butter flavored concoction (the name escapes me) and ordered a full glass of that. Ben was our server and in between keeping us entertained with an excellent dry humor, he gave her a mix of the peanut butter beer and the Shed Chocolate Milk Stout. Well, that did it for her and she had that next. We spent a couple of hours enjoying the good brews and company. All of the staff was friendly and made us feel so welcome. We had such a great time, we went back on Friday. There was live entertainment (thanks for the Neil Young) and again, a great atmosphere. I will be looking for OCB the next time I am in VT and you should too. Thanks OCB!

Cisco Brewers

Who are we? We are just about the coolest place on planet Earth. Having never personally traveled to other parts of the galaxy, we can't quite say "in all the Milky Way" but we're pretty confident that we would make the top 10. Here on Nantucket we have a Winery, Brewery, and Distillery. Nantucket Vineyard was the first arm of our business opening in the early 1980's as a small project of the Long Family. After a few years, Winery employees ended up falling in love with the wine and each other, and voila! - Cisco Brewers was born on the Hudson's stovetop in 1995. Whispers of a brewery floated on the Nantucket wind, catching the ear of a few people, including a Mr. Harman. Using the previously tested and proven formula of starting a business from another business, Winery and Brewery employees enjoyed a few glasses / pints (respectively) together and hatched the idea for Triple Eight Distillery in 2000. All three businesses are constantly evolving, and we now produce a wide variety of world-class wines, beers, and spirits. Come out and enjoy our Nantucket haven- just prepare yourself in case your mind blows up from all the awesomeness. Open everyday year-round, dog and kid friendly!

You then exit through the gift shop but with the tasting glass to take away. Superb experience and all they ask is an optional donation to the fund supporting 3 different charities.
