Lake Sevan is the biggest lake in Armenia, located in Gegharquniq Province and is about 1900m above sea level a large. The visitors can admire the water, sandy beach, nice sunset etc. Also there is a famous monastery named Sevanavank which is located in a narrow peninsula and easy to rich.

Aparan reservoir, Aparan lake, artificial reservoir in Aragatsotn region of Armenia, upstream of Kasagh River, between Kuchak and Eghipatrush villages. In 1967 the small churches of St. Vardan and Tukh Manuk were removed from the water line in Zovuni town and removed to a safe place. Built in the IV century, the Paul-Peter Basilica Cathedral stays in the water for 3-4 months a year.

This lake is located near Dsegh village, which is in its turn the birth place of famous poet writer Hovhannes Toumanyan.
