Reviewed By Eva MI had a personal emergency and contacted them to try to cancel the booking requesting them to kindly waive the cancellation fees given the personal situation limiting my travel. They not just never replied but also charged the whole booking price to my credit card. Unacceptable

Nice experience... until a disappointing conclusion
Reviewed By clakukiVery nice location right on the beach (and ideal for kitesurfing), quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Quite large and comfortable rooms. With the exception of the hamburger (don't order!) what was available out of the menu was quite good, although mainly international cuisine, not many local dishes. Disappointed that lobster (which seemed to be one of the few local recipees) was not available for all the duration of the stay (2 days) and the waiters, although asked, were not able to explain why. Worst disappointment, however, at check-out. Having to leave early in the morning, we checked out our 2 rooms the evening before. We found out that they charge you penalties for a long list of items, e.g. even if you damage a bath towel (it was not our case anyway). The receptionist asked if we needed some water for the night since they were going to sack all bottles of water from the fridges so as to avoid that we might drink for free during the night. This has been quite rude, unpleasant and in any case unacceptable from a hotel of that level. Also, since we would have missed breakfast (which starts a bit late, at 8 am), we asked if there was the possibility to be provided with some take away breakfast or snacks. The answer? No (laughing, as if it was an absurd request).

Reviewed By Vagner_e_ThaisThe first we got there we were greeted by a member of the staff at the parking lot, who helped with the luggage and showed us to our room. We got the smallest ones, the only availability for the weekend. The whole B&B was very small, but the bar was full, with a great selection of drinks, very well craft by the way, and a large range of spirits, curtesy of the Portuguese owner, that is a lover of good wine and food. for the 2 days we stayed we really felt welcomed, with all our needs accommodated, even with the possibility to extend the menu with the adjacent restaurant. Flexeiras grew a lot and the B&B is right on the center, so, with you look for peace and quiet, is not the best option, with loud music on the restaurants near by and the rooms with not a lot of privacy thanks to it's thin walls, but for a night on the way so you can refuel with quality and good service, is a great option

The place is perfect to relax, the hotel have a good structure and just cross the street you will be at the beach, so you can stay in the swimming pool and if you want just 20 steps from the hotel you will be at the beach. The breakfast is good and the price is ok!!! I recommend this place to stay if you want to relax!

The pousada has 4 rooms on the first floor with a kitchen on the same floor , there are other rooms in the garden . The management is friendly , the rooms need some more furniture and finishing touch , when arriving I didn't feel quite comfortabel with the room , it was sea view but very large and empty , but you do have a nice balcony . Nice touch is that you can take your breakfast on the balcony of your room and serve yourself in the kitchen . Table is dressed every morning . For dinner or lunch you can have a choice of many restaurants on the beach about 3 min walk from la casa di pietra . Fleicheiras is a nice little town , clean , and mostly locals , we as tourists felt at home immediately . For kiting it is a nice spot , waves , flat at low tide at right hand side of the hotel and a friendly bar crew member who helps you launching or landing . The owners are a young couple , very friendly with young kids who talk italian with each other , so it can go loud sometimes around te pool if you know the italian caracters . But we enjoyed our stay , enjoyed kiting , the village and the hotel .

Reviewed By AmandaSuzukiEven though we arrived pretty late in the evening, Marco – the owner – welcomed us and took us to our room. On the following morning we did our check in and had an amazing breakfast, prepared by Bá, the cook of the hotel. It was simple, but really well made and tasty; we learnt on the following day, that the breads and cakes, were made by this nice lady! Luciana gave us tips of beaches and things to do in the region and Marco taught us how to get to Jericoacoara faster! The hotel is lovely, with great common areas and beautiful woodwork, with a rustic feeling. The area next to the pool is pretty pleasant, and there’s a barbecue area where you can bring some fish and grill it. We stayed in a room next to the pool. It was super clean, tidy and quiet, apart from being comfortable. Marco told us he’s working to improve the rooms even more! The hotel is close to the city center and you can find everything you need within a walking distance. There’s also free parking, and they can book you some tours if you need. Loved the energy and the how everybody there was always in a good mood. Would love to get back there ASAP!
