Reviewed By stuartnufcNice modern clean hotel, friendly staff and very good food in restaurant. Pretty close to the city centre and park. Wi-Fi has now been upgraded since my last review and works perfectly. The rooms in the apartment ground floor are extra special, got a free upgrade which was very pleasant.

Reviewed By alins704The location is placed near a forest, so it's really quiet and chill, and it also has a pool where you can relax. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is delicious and fresh, it's made on the spot. It is very close to the city, so you can also go sightseeing. There is also a museum right near the location which was the house of the family decades ago, before they were forced to sell.

Reviewed By 1107daianamThe pizza was good, it was 34 lei and the Pepsi 7 lei. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the waiters are polite. You can pay cash or with card. The restaurant has many options in the menu, you can order pasta, burgers, fish and other types of meat.

Reviewed By alex_dddThe guesthouse is hosted by a nice and airy villa complete with a relaxed terrace down a quiet street just off the city centre. Rooms are large, correctly appointed and welcoming, with hardwood furniture and flooring, but without unnecessary decoration; they are very well kept. Bathrooms are equally large and well endowed. The restaurant (that also serves breakfast) has a great, mostly Mediterranean menu, with excellently prepared dishes. Having dinner there twice, my dishes were both times prepared with fresh ingredients and they were very tasty. Breakfast is fine as well, with a good selection of cold and warm items. Both guesthouse and restaurant staff were always very friendly and professional, prompt, charismatic and proactive. By all means recommended.

Excellent place to stay in Târgu Jiu
Reviewed By marius iGreat place to stay in Tirgu Jiu. The services were great, at the time of stay was recently launched, everything was new. Staff is super friendly, cheers to bar personnel for making such a great job. Good breakfast with lots of products to choose from. Clean and new rooms with Ok sound isolation. The hotel has some parking spots in front, but they are plenty in area. The only bad is the view, wich is next to a warehouse, but other than that was truly great!

Reception - almost inexistent - uninformed about data privacy - hasty Staff - almost inexistent, had to wait and still wasnt served at the pool for 1h. The only time the waiter came to the pool was to inform the residents that it will close due to a restaurant event. Pool - nice with a nice view - water temperature felt like 24-25 C - no markings for depth anywhere - no safety rails - 1 ladder at the highest depth... Room - kinda nice and cozy. old cabin feeling - AC, small TV, fridge Restaurant - didnt even bother to try it out. Reason: same staff. (wouldnt risk a spit in my food)

Reviewed By FarAway56517642358Service is very bad. Waiter told me I have to wait 1 hour for some pancakes like he was saying “I don’t want to take your order”. He didn’t tell me no problem but it will take one hour. He just said it will take 1 hour so you should better not order. He was not polite at all. You can have the best restaurant in the world, but when service is bad, the restaurant is bad. So 1 star for YMY. I don’t recommend.

Not great not terrible
Reviewed By Lungu VThe room was decent at best, nothing fancy, the bed had a good mattress but it was not that stable, every move you made it was making different sounds. The bathroom was close to horrible (not vents, the shower was outdated). Another annoying thing was the music that you can hear from the terrace in front of the hotel and sleeping was not a pleasant experience. The staff was great, but that kind of it. The positive thing is the location as it's close to Brancusi masterpieces. We ended up staying there as we had a reservation at a different place (the "manele" where to loud there and we left in a hurry as it didn't look safe).
