Friendly but noisy and breakfast is poor
Reviewed By Steph BThe staff are really nice here, and try to make an effort to speak English. The Ukranian waitress is excellent! The rooms have bathroom doors on them which means there are holes at the bottom for ventilation - this means you can hear every sound from the corridor and all other rooms - not great since the hotel cater for groups - everything from school children to trade fair and conference goers. Rooms have no kettles though they provide one if you ask. The restaurant has an old fashioned feel to it and the food is mediocre and worse if you are staying alone - then the choice of breakfast is reduced and even the toaster is taken away! Be aware that the house next door burn rubber to keep warm during winter months - do not open any windows! There is also a neighbourhood guard dog that barks nearly all night. The first room I stayed in had cigarette burns i the carpet and looked over a flat roof full of cigarette butts - avoid the central rooms at the front. The room I had at the back was much better but the fan fell off the wall in the bathroom when I was there. The rooms are mostly twin so don't expect a double bed. The surrounding area is a bit sparse - it looks as though the town is growing out in this direction but hasn't really become established. Not ideal for a first visit to Kielce - you can easily miss the beautiful centre and nice eateries there.

Reviewed By LT_travelerrrNice hotel based in countryside near village. Breakfast great if you order. It was bit too hot in upper rooms, but ceiling windows helped. Restaurant not working so for dinner you should drive somwhere.

Reviewed By pinkrose1Stayed at Solanna as we were visiting for a family wedding. There were a lot of negatives about this hotel. The rooms were small - not even enough space to put our luggage. We were also traveling with a baby and there was no space to put the baby cot. We complained and were moved to a larger room. This time we had to deal with the room smelling badly of cigarette smoke. The carpet was dirty and the sheets on the bed were not big enough to cover the mattress. The rooms were not serviced - no clean towels etc. Which became a bit gross after 4 nights stay. Breakfast was acceptable. Breads, cold meat and spreads served with tea and coffee.

Reviewed By Krzysztof SVery friendly place with smiley girls. Food is fresh and tasty. Everything is great but there are small buts. Garden for children’s is almost demolished. Prices are not so really correspond with quality. This what you most probably don’t like most is cleanliness - you can say it’s nature but still if there is pigeon poo on your chair your lunch can be ruin.

A Diamond near Kielce
Reviewed By Rainer SI stayed there from 12.05 - 17.05.2014. This place is just amazing. Surrounded by natural meadows and forests. You have always fresh air so will sleep well. It calls itself Pensjonat but in fact it is more a wellness hotel. The place is fairly new and kept in an outstanding condition. There is a lovely swimming pool, 2 saunas, there is a relaxing area with massage beds. The restaurant is very nice and has an open fire place. They also cater for the "little" customers too. High chair as well as toys. A secure outside play ground and a play area in the relaxing room. Not to forget the lovely seating area in front of the entrance. You can feel that the owner did not only put money in the place but also his lifeblood. The restaurant has a adequate menu and a good selection of drinks. The rooms are spacious enough and very clean. The bathrooms are excellent and you have a huge shower and always enough hot water. The beds are outstanding and of top quality. All the rooms have a balcony too. Summary: The staff is very, very friendly and all the time helpful. They go the extra mile to make you happy. The cook knows his job and the food done are delicious and of top quality. The staff understands English, German, Russian and of course Polish. I had 3 more companions, 2 from Germany and one from Poland they all share my opinion. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants peace of mind and is seeking a place to relax. Thank you very much for a great time and I will return again Rainer. S

Reviewed By Paul BA wonderful host thst made our stay and absolute pleasure and a highlight of Poland The Manor retains the old world charm ax the owner restores the property after years of neglect from previous owners We loved the dinner, rhought we were going to get home style but would be up with tgs best of restaurants. Plus the opportunity to sit down and chat and hear tgs whole history of the manor really made our stay If you want 5 star then this place isn't but you want a real Polish experience and sons real memories of a special place you stayed then you wont regret staying here
