BOUTIQUE HOTEL GRAND*** ŠPINDLERŮV MLÝN The Hotel Grand is a very nice hotel and thanks to its location is one of the most visited hotels in Špindlerův Mlýn. You will find the newly reconstructed hotel right in the town centre, thanks to its location is an ideal place for sporting and social activities in the wintertime and also summer time. We can´t forget to mention beautiful views over the town centre and panorama over the mountain Medvědín. Hotel offers 14 luxury rooms with internet connection. It is an ideal place for skiing in the winter and also cycling in the summer. There are waiting for you 8 double rooms, 4 double rooms with extra bed and 2 attic apartments. There is new and elegant restaurant "V Uličce" situated in the ground floor of the hotel and since 2018 we offer a brand new Spa Relax Centre.
Poor customer service, otherwise good value
Reviewed By Z8247AWlukehI cannot say anything positive about some of the staff at the reception desk, which was not only uncooperative but just plain rude to the paying customer. On our first visit, me and my wife booked a massage service, an hour each, scheduled later in the day. That visit went fine, and the person getting our booking was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately the shift apparently already changed when we arrived again for our massage. We appeared at the reception desk about 10 minutes early, and the new person we met there quite harshly instructed us to sit in the corner until the time was exactly right. In the meantime we were asked several questions, while the staff was repeatedly switching to German, although it was clear from the start that we prefer communicating in English. But the most unexpected happened only after my wife was asked to follow to the massage room. After just a few minutes later, as I was waiting in the corner for my turn, I was ordered by the desk staff to leave the premises, because the reception needed to be closed and locked (the staff had to leave for some reason). I had to wait out an entire hour on the street, waiting my turn for the massage. Finally, I resorted to visiting a bar across the street. When my wife retuned, I warned her about this strange situation, being worried about her safety - at that time (around 8 PM) it was already dark outside and the street was empty. I was ready to cancel my turn and just leave, but she did not believe me at first and insisted I should go with my scheduled visit. After I had my turn for the massage, I learned from my wife that she also was asked by the same staff member to leave the hotel (exactly as I had warned her this might happen). What an appalling behaviour towards a woman! Fortunately my wife had the fortitude to strongly protest against being thrown out into a dark street and had to endure the dubious pleasure of sitting out my massage in some wet and steamy corner of the hotel corridor, next to the sauna entrance, where she was ordered to wait instead. Is this the company policy to treat non-residents in such a degrading manner? I definitely recommend finding an accommodation elsewhere, not to risk to experience such an awful treatment in this place. Regarding the massage service itself, it was done professionally and with great care and attention. And this is the only reason I'm giving two stars instead of just one. Such a shame to ruin the effort by an unprofessional co-worker at the reception desk!

Reviewed By Spotter SVisited for a second time. Again, the hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean. TV still missing. Restaurant menu is strongly reduced than last year, currently they offer just few meals, most of them are fried. This probably means that you should offer a dinner in advance. One day the meal was very good, second day worse and probably did not worth it (for the price 9 EUR). One day the breakfast was not so good, the second day very good and rich. I would give something between 3 and four points, do not want to damage the staff so I put four.

Pension Luky has been offering its services in Krkonose (the Giant Mountains) since 1998. Its location in the heart of Spindleruv Mlyn, close to Medvedin and Svaty Petr ski resorts, is ideal for downhill skiing, but also for cross-country skiers. Out of the main winter season there are many opportunities for hiking, mountain and downhill biking or just having a rest. Spindleruv Mlyn offers its visitors a range of popular attractions, such as the bobsleigh run open all year round, aquapark, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, squash, bowling etc.A ski bus stop (free for ski pass holders) is located 100 m from the guest-house.Pension Luky offers double rooms with the possibility of extra beds as well as apartments with kitchenettes. All rooms are equipped with WC, shower or bath with hairdryer, safe for valuables, TV and satellite. Accommodation includes breakfast, parking in front of the house and free wifi. Sauna is available to those guests who stay at least one week, for free.Breakfast is served in the homely dining room, where guests may also enjoy sitting in the evening with refreshments.There is also terrace available to our guests.

Reviewed By Gyzzzathis is a very charming guest house. the apartment was not big but very clean and in good condition. the mattresses on the beds are relatively new. the staff are very friendly and helpful. the breakfast is great! The sauna is tiny but nice. Would come here again.

Reviewed By KristinEckoKatastrophe!!! Vorweg… wir fahren sehr oft in die spindlermühle da wir in Prag wohnen.. und wollten immer mal das Hotel bei unserem Lieblings Restaurant ausprobieren. Also haben wir uns kurzfristig Samstag morgen wegen schönem Wetter entschieden eine Nacht in den Bergen zu verbringen. Die Buchung lief reibungslos. Check in ebenfalls - kostenfreier Parkplatz direkt im Zentrum auf der anderen Seite des Hotel Eingangs. Auf den ersten Blick war das Zimmer toll. Ein großer Doppelbett und ein großer Schlafsofa gemütlich hergerichtet für die Zwillinge. Beim genaueren betrachten nahm das ganze seinen Lauf. Dreckiger topper (Blut vielleicht) auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wir arbeiten nicht mit topper … bis ich dann das Bett abgezogen habe und an die Rezeption gebracht habe. Bis persönliche Angreifung das mein Mann kein Deutsch versteht wir kommen ja nicht aus Deutschland :)))) Bis hin zu mit Haaren volle Wände im Bad und völlige verdreckter Zwischenbereich bei der Schiebetür!! Schrecklich….. Sparen sie sich lieber das Geld und gehen ins savoy! Es ist und bleibt das beste Hotel auf dem Platz! Da kriegen sie das rundum Paket wo wir dann auch abends lecker essen waren !! It’s was very reasonable priced and good value. It’s an honest restaurant to enjoy honest, tasty food. Very pleasant and worth a visit. Good location too.

Thanks to the perfect location in the city center, the availability of all summer and winter leisure activities is absolutely ideal.

Reviewed By olesya_barRoom and the house itself is clean, warm, comfortable, with all needed amenities including mini-fridge, hair dryer, and free wi-fi. There are booklets with maps and other useful information available in the kitchen. Central location allows to reach most of the places on foot (intercity bus station, Hromovka, Aqua Park, bobsleigh / snowtubing tracks) + Skibus stop and minimarket are within 2 minutes. Breakfast is of a great variety: yogurt, cheese, ham, bakery, Nutella, jam, butter, juice, tea, coffee, eggs, cereal, milk, dried apples / bananas - I can't think of anything I would like for breakfast and didn't have! Owners are friendly and helpful. And yes, price was good too! If we're returning to Spindleruv Mlyn - we'd like to stay at Pension U Komarku again, because we liked it a lot!

Great Ski vacation

The owner did everything to help, guide and please us. 5 minutes ride from Ski Svaty peter and Midvedin.5 minutes ride from the center. Ski bus stop is 100 m from the pension. Room was clean and warm. We really enjoyed our stay. Great value for money. Thank you.

A stylish hotel Švýcarská bouda Špindlerův Mlýn is located in the upper part of the town called Labská, about 2km from the downtown, just 300m from to the closest ski-lifts and about 1,5km from ski-lift Hromovka. Sporthotel offers you bedrooms with private bathroom. Most of them will impress you with their own balcony.There is covered garage at your disposal. Hotel has its own restaurant with a capacity of 90 seats and in the summer there is a large terrace opened. We can also offer our guests a trampoline, tennis court and outdoor pool for free. If you feel like having a privacy and relax there is a hot tub and a sauna for a small fee. Our hotel is a great place for not only family with kids but also for a bigger groups of people. It is ideal place for summer and also winter. In reachable distance there are ski, bike and touristic routes, which will takeout you on the ridges of the Krkonoše mountains.
