James from our group of six could not make that as he'd damaged his Achilles Tendon playing racketball. 2021 was a no ski zone so we decided to go back to Serfaus in January 2022 to show it to James. That proved not possible and finally we got there on 2 March for 4 nights. We were greeted with great warmth by the family and by Sabine and the facilities and food were, as ever, excellent. We were blessed with cold weather with bright blue skies and great snow so brilliant skiing. An epic holiday!

Reviewed By L7941VUsarahbTina and Gunter are brilliant. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast delicious. Tina goes out if her way to make your stay perfect. There is no lift but 57 steps to the top floor. A nice sauna, good boot and ski room. We will return again and again

Great hotel, don’t be put off by the poorer reviews
Reviewed By DandloSerfaus is a great ski location and I believe that this hotel is the only UK package holiday destination. Okay, staff had limited English, but I have limited German, but if you want to enjoy yourself and have very basic phrases like good morning etc and you can smile, you can get by. The owner can speak much better English that the other staff. Austrian hotels differ from UK hotels, 4 star in the UK is different from Austria, but as far as Austrian hotels go, this one is probably the best that I have stayed in. I have been visiting Austria for 10 years. The rooms were spotless, food great - plenty of it, breakfasts great, the wellness centre was lovely- swimming pool, jacuzzi within swimming pool and a sauna and steam room. There is a nice balcony outside of the swimming pool too. The area is quiet and the view from the room was good. We were on the third floor so this may have helped. The hotel is family run so a little more relaxed, this can be seen both positively and negatively- not as efficient as it could be and lacking in detail about check out and settling say a bar bill etc, but this also means that the team are not pushy too. I say team (as in staff), they were lovely and always so positive. Yes language barrier did not make things as easy, but with a smile and an attempt to communicate, all was well, they definitely wanted your stay to go well. During my staff, I found the rooms were too warm (very well insulated). One evening I removed the duvet from its cover and just used the sheet, the next day without asking, a lighter duvet was inserted into the sheet, it was perfect - small touches like this showed that there was a desire for you to enjoy your holiday. Breakfast omelettes were very nice, you ordered them with the chef - ‘omelette mit allen’ ( omelette with all veg etc) and in a few minutes an omelette was served at your table. Lovely!! I would recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By iSwaEverything was fine. The hotel is well placed in Serfaus. The food and service is good. The rooms are clean. In winter you can warm up your ski boots in the ski room and relax at the spa. The only thing to say is the soundproofing of the doors of the rooms, we hear everything that goes on in the hallway...Fortunately it is a quiet hotel ;-) Thank you! Danke!

Reviewed By keith sWe find moutain holidays to be addictive, particually when the hotel is as good as the Geiger. It was time to invite the family this time, and they were well impressed. The spacious comfy rooms with fab views. The heated rooftop pool with a view to die for. The sauna/relax area with infrared cabin and free towels. Very quiet, lovely food, friendly staff, free cable car passes to the whole area (you save a bomb!) Free parking, free safe and free wifi. All this in a beautiful village 10 min walk from the cable cars, or take the little metro. Makes you want to yodel!!

(accommodations) Utterly clean, well taken care of, each with small kitchenette, small balcony, and a mere 300 meters from the main ski lift. Leave your car parked, and only need it again, when you leave. In house elevator will take you down to the restaurant run by the family, with excellent food, and - the owner being a pastry chef - serves cakes to "die for" all day....

Great place in town next to the lift and across the Patchi Pub
Reviewed By Ruud dProbably the most strategic place in Serfaus to stay. The hotel and appartments are located next to the lifts and right across the hottest pub in town. Although you have no problems with any noise. The hotel is a family business and run by a lovely lady with hospitality as a second nature. Facilities are of very high quality. There is a heated ski-room where you can store your equipment and dry your shoes for the next day. Breakfast is very nice and with lots of different kinds of food to choose from. The hotel has a small bar where they serve about everything. Beers, cocktails and superb Austrian wines.
