Done by a friendly staff members. . the garden and area is beautiful. the room very spacious and neat.and well equip.The step up to the shower and lavatory = not helpful if you are miobile challenged. Down side. the TV and DSTV remotes did not work. reported to the Supervisor of the hospitality group, both remotes replaced but not tested. Still no TV nor DSTV. Teh Wifi ws usefull.

Kuiersaam never disappoint me, my first was was late last year during the loadshedding period and I was worried what am I gonna do because I had a lot of work that needed to be done, but I was so impressed to find out that the is a generator on standby when the power cuts. I again visited the place checked in 19 January 2021 and there was no water in secunda but, @ Kuiersaam everything was functioning as normal because they got water tanks in time of need. Everything is in place they follow Covid-19 Protocols they disinfecting the rooms using the GS Forgers. I'll definitely recommended my colleagues to come and stay there.

Dormio Manor Guest Lodge is a luxury four star bed and breakfast guesthouse, located in central Secunda. We are nearby the Secunda mall, complete with Ster-kinekor cinemas, various shops and restaurants. Great location for your Runcation
Reviewed By Safari39143525335The location was perfect and close enough to Lake Umuzi for the Kosmos race. The mall is like 2kms away from the lodge. Elna was a great host, she communicated in advance when room changes had to be made and even accommodated us when we arrived late due to poor planning on our side. The cleaning ladies were friendly and very helpful. Then there was Wilson :) Bless that man. He welcomed us on arrival with a friendly smile, showed us the place and made our breakfast the nextday. On departure we misplaced a phone and only realised 3 hours into our trip and the first person we thought of was Wilson. Thank you for making our stay a homely one. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Reviewed By melaniegD8810VEDe Stroom Guest Lodge uses codes for you to gain access to you room. This is hugely convenient as you avoid having to adhere to office hours for checkin. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, very modern. It has a little kitchenette with everything you need for self catering. The Wifi is great and we weren't affected by the load shedding that happened almost every evening. Not sure if they run generators but this was a huge plus! Thank you for a great stay. I will recommend to any person traveling to Secunda.

Nice and tight
Reviewed By Danie1974My room (Merlot) at the guest house was cozy, and adequately furnished. This was a single bed, no frills room with just the bare necessities. The bed slept comfortable and the sat TV was nice, and I even chewed on the biscuits in the flask in my room at night. I loved that my car was parked under a roof just outside my room, inside secure, lit parking. I would have loved fresh towels every day though, and a good dusting and cleaning of the room as the dust on the blinds and perhaps also the water damage in the wall behind the door had my sinuses acting up somewhat. And the bathroom-shower combo in the closet was a might tight, especially when brushing teeth in the morning. One cannot dry oneself in there; it is just too small. So when you book; ask for a larger room than Merlot- even if just for the bathroom access and comfort- especially if you are a six footer or bigger. The highlight was the food though, and the portions are generous, tasty and very welcome after a long day at work. I didn't receive a beverage with my first meal, but with every meal thereafter. I drank the water in the fridge that evening. Breakfast was just as generous and the lunch packs were the best I've seen in a long time. I would recommend d'Vine for the secure parking and the food alone. The rest are easy fixes.

Reviewed By _staceyjcbsNeat, comfortable, safe and has everything you might need - we did not include breakfast, but there was some fresh bread, eggs, milk, yoghurt and cereal. Although not on the premises, management is just a phone call away. Room gets cleaned / serviced everyday. Had a perfectly pleasant stay.
