Stone Manor "Castle"

Reviewed By oceandreams92

Staying at Stone Manor was like staying in a small castle. The Turret Suite was wonderful; if I wasn't relaxing in the big tub, I was lying on the fainting couch at the end of the bed. Manisha and Prashant were really nice, and available for anything I needed. The breakfasts were AWESOME, and different every day. Comfy bed, well water, castle-like furnishings, lots and lots of available movies, and being treated like a queen. What more could I ask!

Most stress free wedding weekend!!!

Reviewed By JSmith326

My husband and I tied the knot here about a month ago and we are still floating. The place is obviously beautiful but the people are what make it amazing. We dealt the most with Laura and Doug leading up to the big day and all I can say is that they are masters of their craft. They made my life SO EASY in regards to the planning process. And on the weekend of, Sophie, Lorelei, Sabrina, Jon, Chris, Tommy and the whole crew worked so hard to make for an absolutely seamless few days. I felt so relaxed and stress free through the whole weekend. I couldn't recommend this place more. Our photo sneak peak and wedding video were ready(and SO GOOD) by the morning after and we got to watch it at breakfast which I thought was just unbelievable! And my friend actually booked a tour two days after our wedding because it was so amazing!!!!!

Beautiful wedding venue

Reviewed By Aellis123

We loved the inn and Lisa the innkeeper. The room was nice and the breakfast was great, The only suggestions we had would be to add a full length mirror in the rooms since this is a wedding venue and a towel hook near the shower, The Inn was so nice and Lisa was amazing, putting my wallet back in my room when I left it in the parlor-distracted due to my sons wedding and lending us tape for favors. The wedding was amazing. Thank you!

Central location but don’t stay here

Reviewed By BostonDuo2017

Four stars for friendly staff, breakfast and central location. One star for the room. It was small with old and worn out furnishings, a threadbare curtain & no shade on the tall front windows, a bed with a terrible mattress, an outdated bathroom with a difficult to flush toilet and water temperature suddenly changing unexpectedly on occasion from hot to cold. The whole place looked worn out and needed a paint job. The lighting was very basic; only one bedside lamp and one glass in the bathroom. Our room was in the front of the building - we were there on a Saturday night and loud partying from all the bars on the street kept us up until 1-2am. Happy that the room was only up one flight of stairs; no elevator. I would return for breakfast but we will never stay here again should we find ourselves in Leesburg.

The perfect place to stop near Lorton, VA for the Auto-train.

What a terrific spot to stop near the Auto-train in Lorton. Our room was both clean and comfortable, and quite quiet, considering the B&B is on a well-travelled road with such a convenient location. The breakfast is delivered to your room, and is a delicious way to start the day. One of my favorite things is a journal left for guests to describe their stay. It is interesting to read the posts of people from all over the world. You won't regret your decision to stay!

Love this Place

Only an hour away from inside the beltway, this was the most perfect setting for a getaway anniversary weekend. The rooms are beautifully kept and the extra little touches make it the perfect setting. A welcome box and later delivered homemade cookies and local milk were just a nice way to be received. Anthony, who is never ending in his work, makes you feel welcome. The breakfast was terrific and included several local sources. If you are considering this for a wedding venue, I highly recommend it. We were here to celebrate our 25th anniversary and talked about how this would have been a wonderful place for us to get married

Problem solved! Expectations exceeded!!

Reviewed By Ray G

We were having my daughters wedding at another venue and their accommodations were not ready in time. Booked theManor at Courtland Farms for the wedding party. This ended up being a blessing in disguise. Couldn’t have been any better!! We were met at check-in by Maikan and were shown around the property. The grounds and the Manor were pristine and far exceeded our expectations. We booked all 10 rooms in the Manor which meant we had access to the entire house. Plenty of room for hair and makeup the day of the wedding as well as places for the groomsmen to hang out and stay busy watching football, playing air hockey or pool. Breakfast was served daily and was excellent. Maikan was there when needed and then was gone, but somehow made sure everything ran like a well oiled machine. We could not have been any happier.
