Excellent

Once you get over the scruffy (but very Neapolitan) entrance, courtyard and lift, this hotel is wonderful - a really calm and peaceful escape from the madness of the city! We had a great view over the square, but with the windows closed, we could hardly hear any street noise at all. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight with lovely fresh fruit plates, eggs cooked to order, fresh squeezed orange juice and nice selections of cheese and ham. The only slight negative was that breakfast wasn't possible before 8am, which we found a bit restrictive when trying to get out and about early. All in all it was great though and Ada on reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly!

I stayed here with my three children and it was great. There is a lift up to the hotel which is very atmospheric and we felt very safe here. Marcelo on reception made us feel at home. The hotel had been recommended to me and it surpassed my expectations. The breakfast is outstanding - Mohan couldn’t have been more welcoming. I would definitely recommend it here.

Excellent accommodation in a central location

Lovely, friendly staff who make sure you enjoy your stay with them. Rooms are spacious and clean with fresh towels every day, if you wish, and sheets changed twice in an 8 day stay. Breakfast very good with plenty of choice. There is a restaurant and bar and the food is excellent. We ate there 4 nights out of 8. Nice relaxing spa. Roof terrace was being refurbished but it was looking great. This property is only 5 minutes walk from the railway and bus station.

Borgo Vergini Garden B&B

The structure of the Borgo Vergini Garden was the subject of complete renovation in 2017. With the reuse of the ancient "riggiole" tiles discovered during the works below the existing flooring, we wanted to characterize all the environments in a "Neapolitan" key; and so also with the yellow tuff walls, sometimes intentionally left exposed. The furniture has a simple and functional style, but at the same time cozy and comfortable: the final result is definitely fascinating and perfectly in tune with the typically Neapolitan atmosphere.

The Bellini House by House in Naples

The Bellini House - the name stems from the idea that we wanted an place downtown where we could invite our friends and guests -- something more than your standard B&B. We imagined a home away from home that everyone could consider "theirs". A house which was made to receive guests, entertain them, intrigue them and most of all, allow them to relax and get to know the city of Naples. Each room has its own, defined identity with a little story to tell. Inside, you can find objects that were lost and others that were found. Some were re-covered, recycled, up-cycled; while others we re-invented, re-used and transformed. Each object, with its own story and soul, blends seamlessly together with other pieces of design and art throughout the house. If you want, you can look at them, use them, read them, share them, admire them and in some cases even purchase them. Breakfast is served with the intent of spoiling our guests. The products we offer are mostly organic and/or "local specialty products" which we would like to introduce to our guests and friends Breakfast can be enjoyed in the living room, in bed, out on the balcony or directly at our 800a.d. breakfast bar (check out the story behind this one). The main hall also has a little lounge area with designer chairs and recycled military coffee tables. In the spring time, it'll feel like being in the countryside, when you enjoy your cappuccino and cornetto overlooking a lush, green gardens from the private balcony of your room. The perfect way to transform your vacation in Naples. A getaway within your getaway - a moment of pure bliss and intimate meditation. Within The Bellini House, you can make yourself feel at home, as you skim through your favorite magazine in the living room, abbandon yourself to conversation with other guests at the bar, relax and read a book on the many couches and lounge chairs, or sink back in a cozy chair on the balcony, watching the sun set over a glass of fine wine from our cellar. To help us with the interiors, we asked three, young and emerging local artists to nararate their stories and "speak" to our guests by transmitting their ideas through their art. Piece by piece, their works create a dialogue between them and the walls and rooms of the house, giving birth to a new form of artistic expression.

Excellent location, accomodation and service

Reviewed By WicklowValley

Stayed 2 nights May 2022. Location - Centre of Centro Storico - right outside your door Quiet - I'm a very light sleeper and had worried about proximity to the piazza. In fact The Bellini House is at the back of the building that faces the square, and is accessed through a courtyard entrance. Add in the centuries old walls and the shutters and really there is not a sound to be heard Space - Very spacious room - I spotted a family room which was huge, with a sofa - ideal for a family, or group Funky - decor is cool - teens or young adults would love Breakfast - a little quirky by N European standards - lots of cake! But fine. Communal balcony looks out on shared garden in centre of buildings (not centre of piazza) - The Bellini House doesn't have access to the garden, but that's fine Service - left a pair of earrings and earplugs in the room - both were posted to me back in Ireland. Very kind. Cleanliness - spotless Piazza - v lively. We arrived by taxi from the airport at about 11.30, dropped bags and went back out for a drink and bit. Closed up at about 12.30. Security - Both The Bellini House and Naples generally 100% safe, zero feeling of being hustled in any way whatsoever; strong police presence Overall - great spot for seeing the charm of old town Naples

Our Napoli Casa Away From Casa!

All the rave reviews that persuaded us to stay with Gemma while in Naples were not exaggerating. First of all, in the months between booking and arrival, Gemma was exemplary in her communications—prompt, clear and helpful. When we arrived at her charming rooftop property, she greeted us with a warm Buongiorno, a smile and two glasses of ginger spritz. The room was spacious, bright, squeaky clean and tastefully decorated. Gemma gave us a thorough orientation to the city, and some excellent local references for restaurants. She was always available by phone or WhatsApp for a quick question or special request, and we're pretty sure her relationship with some of the popular small family restaurants was pivotal in getting us table reservations at peak times. Her breakfasts were bounteous and delicious, and given her baking skills I'm amazed Fabio doesn't weigh 200 kilos! :) We felt so nurtured and spoiled. Of our four stops on this trip (Venice, Rome, Naples and Florence) we felt most "at home" in Napoli...and Gemma gets a lot of the credit for that. Arrivaderci e Gratzi Mille, Gemma!
