Reviewed By Sunny2K2Not sure what hotel people who gave excellent have stayed. Dont be fooled by photos. All I got to know this hotel goes by Hotel Lotus, Hotel Ivy and Hotel Marina. Horrible staff, loud music from mobile phones, no eye contact and don't even bother to answer you. I have paid for deluxe room with all facilities, what I got close to reception with no phone, bed sheets weren't clean, no soap, don't want to start about bathroom. I have to ask for breakfast and always to goto reception ask for things. Stayed for two days, not once came to room to change things... Never recommend hotel!

Could have been a solid mid range option but incompetence all around
Reviewed By PurobiThis is a total mixed bag. We did not know whether to cry or laugh at times. Airport pick up was fine. The car is ancient without seat belts at the back, driver started talking in phone while driving and I told him in no uncertain terms that he can not do that while driving with one hand. So, he continued to take all incoming calls to tell the caller that he can not talk now. The receptionist Karuna was very pleasant and helpful. We got Room 411. The guy (Rahul) took us in, turned the AC on, TV on and disappeared. The room was spacious, and clean. I turned hot water heater in the bathroom on (it was about 6:30 PM), started doing some work using wifi (which was good), my husband went to the bathroom and while seating at the toilet seat he got flooded with HOT water from the water heater. He jumped out before getting burnt. Called the front desk. Rahul showed up, did nothing (his intellectual ability was way below what is required to be in maintenance). Karuna realized the situation. The water heater was exactly above the toilet. Rahul told us he shut the valves off which he did not, I did later on. She took me to see Room 204 which is a tiny hole (I booked a deluxe room). She went to see if there are any deluxe room available. Rahul showed up and took me to see "another room". It was once again 204. Dumbfounded I came back up in my room, called Karuna and asked if that was a joke. We were supposed to see Room 404. When we went to see that room, it was not clean. Three people pretending to clean it. The woman was actually doing her make up in front of the mirror and the two mean were chatting. I spoke to the Manager and asked if we can sleep in 411 and quickly take shower in room 204 which he did not want to and I understand why under normal circumstance but it was an extraordinary situation where one guest almost got burned by hot water. He agreed that we can do it as long as it is within a time limit. He gave us 25 minutes after Room 404 gets cleaned "within 10 minutes". Instead We took bucket shower with the hot water already collected in the bucket. Asked for a restaurant with AC. Karuna told us to go to their Rooftop place. It was empty. As we were coming back two people showed up and reassured us it was open. It was an oven inside. They tried to turn the AC on and started hitting the switch. However, like almost everything else in the hotel, it did not work. The Manager very kindly took our hands, helped us to cross the busy road, we had dinner in a small but good restaurant. When we came back to our room we realized there is no remote for the AC. Guess who showed up with a remote? It was Rahul. However, he was supposed to set the temperature, not actually GIVE US THE REMOTE. It seems they only have one remote for the entire hotel. I said goodbye. Our airport ride was supposed to be at 5:30 AM. At 5 AM our phone rang. I had to tell them it was 30 minutes later. Ride back to the airport was fine.No rear set belts, as usual. But the driver did not talk in phone while driving either. It could have been a solid mid range option but utter incompetence all around made it way worse than that.

Water will come very slowly in the washrooms and it will take atleast 20 min to completely fill one bucket. Lift works occasionally...frequent power cuts and there will no generator..you can’t have proper sleep in any case.they don’t maintain a dustbin also in the room..food is very very bad to taste and will be delivered after 1.5 hrs. even if you ask for an empty plate they would at least take 40 min to get it as if they are purchasing and bringing it..pillows are bad..there are a lot of mosquitos both in and outside of the room....no room service and cleaning...staff will get irritated easily...they will not have anything in ready be it food, availability of water, power...in our room 106 ac doesn’t work..also there is no proper google maps integration you will have to go to the next lane to take a cab.. atm cards swiper also will not work.

Hell on earth
Reviewed By TizmanSupremeGot a flight from auckland to new Delhi. The flight was arriving around 10pm at night so decided to book a cheap hotel right near the airport. What a horrible mistake. The cab driver didnt know where it was and neither did google maps. Its extremely hard to find. After driving down dirty back alleys for half an hour we managed to find a local who pointed us in the right direction. Arrived at midnight and staff wanted our passports to scan them however they didnt have a scanning machine so sais they needed to take them down the road. We refused and said tomorrow. Rooms didnt have hot water. Door wouldnt lock so had to use our bags to barricade the door locked. About 1 30 am we hear a knock on our door and theres a little kid saying he needs our passports to take away. I tell him to f off. All night long there was loud loud noises up and down the hallway. We slept fully clothed in fear of how dirty it was. In the top 2 of worst hotel experience ever. I left to go on holiday but it felt like a prison sentence. We left as soon as we woke, no clean food options near by so potatoe chips for breakfast it was, then got a cab to center tourist Delhi. The cab driver couldnt believe we chose to stay in that area saying 'very bad area'. I hated indian cities they are fuxking filthy. Hotel airport land is probly quite normal for indian standards so i will not discriminate against them to much. New dehli is hell on earth and hotel airport land are the gates to hell.

Reviewed By miq-zmmThe hotel is not displaying their real address - around 10km from the airport, in dark surroundings. - The room pictures displayed on booking.com are in reality different. I saw several open room, and all of them was similar to ours. The room was dirty, also the beddings - I had to insist on changing all of them. The bedroom was also dirty - we did not want to taking a shower. - Breakfast was simple and provided on the reception while we were waiting for the taxi as we were hurrying to the airport and the staff didn't managed to bring it (to our room) neither after third urgency. - We felt really unsafe and I slept just some hour due to that. We were happy to leave next morning.
