Close to the railway station and Bus depot. 28km from the airport.All the necessary things are provided to you by the staff. It was more like a home stay. excellent is the one word i would put for this quiet and nice place in the heart of Kannur.

Beach 'n' Bay is on silent uncrowded Kizhunna Beach 11 km from Kannur and 1.7 km from N.H at Thottada. It is a Kerala style homestay with veranda around giving sea-view from all sides of the building. Beach is 25 mtrs near.Rooms are double bedded, Airconditioned and have sea-view, enough ventilation, fan, lighting, meshed windows, neat bathrooms and toilets,running hot water. We serve veg, non-veg and fresh seafood to the guests.We arrange local sight seeing and available cultural events.

Reviewed By GruebWe stayed here and found a nice place at the beach! Beach is perfect, remote and clean! Perfect swim! Directly in front of the house! It’s possible to walk in 20 minutes to the street where you find buses to Kannur or Thalassery (for the train). Plus: very good Indian food freshly cooked! Simple but clean rooms with a nice breeze from the sea! Good value! Go there, and not to Blue Mermaid: much to expensive for a mediocre Ambiente and food just made for tourist who have no idea of real India!

White Shell is located right on the beach. The property is more of a homestay than a resort. It has 2 rooms on the ground floor and 3 on top. Shenil the caretaker is friendly and goes out of the way to help if needed. The food is average. But considering that there is not much around, there just very little choice anyway. The rooms are decent sized and fair, can definitely be better and more warm ( from a decor perspective ). Overall a decent place to stay. If you are looking for a luxury stay then look elsewhere.
