The coffee was amazing and everything was refilled and refreshed often. The rooms were cool and comfortable, the pool was wonderful and the people were the best.

Reviewed By Kerri629The property is stunning, the pool is gorgeous, the food is fantastic, the tiny monkeys are adorable, and a few lovely cats wandered the property as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a delightful stay and a true oasis. They even had a vegan option for dinner. I hope to make a return trip someday!

Breakfast was really good, fresh fruit, each morning a different sweet cake or tapioca variant. Leisure options are: slack line, two swimming pools, pool table (enjoyed that a lot whilst the sun was too strong for me). Enjoy the beach during the early morning, it was empty! At night cool down in the pool, water will be still warm. Suppose it´s good for families with kids, big playground and swimming pool for them.

Amazing location, friendly staff, but not so good facilities

Casa ImBale is located on top of a dune, incredible, partially facing the sea, there is a beach hut between the hotel and the beach, but other than that, you leave the hotel and you are already on the beach. 2. Corrado, the owner, is attentive and the entire staff is very friendly (even though there was a small communication noise on my arrival). 3. The breakfast is full of fruits, natural juice and it is still possible to order eggs (if you also had the possibility to order tapioca, it would be even better). CONS: 1. Upon our arrival, Michela, who received us, seemed a little confused because we were a gay couple. Even though our room was ready and she had already identified our reservation, she called the owner to make sure that the room was really for us. 2. Another thing is that the chalet we stayed in is half a chalet, the other half was taken by another couple (with a child), and the wall, made of wood, let all the sound pass from one room to another, which severely damaged our privacy and our sleep, since any noise in the other half of the chalet was as if it were in our own accommodation. 3. The view from our chalet, which by the pictures is beautiful, really half was for an incredible place, but the other half was for the service area of the inn, where there was also noise and a clothesline full of clothes and sheets. 4. Finally, the mattress was old, probably used a lot and with that sink of use in the middle, which did not make it very comfortable.

Reviewed By Sara SOn arrival at canto de imbassai, you are greeted by the staff with a welcome as warm as the weather. The rooms are a decent size and each bed includes a mosquito net so you don't get bitten in the night. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of food and drinks some of which include cakes, fruits, tea, coffee and toast w/ spreads just to name a few of the delicious variety of food available at the breakfast buffet. Adjacent to the breakfast buffet is a pool complete with deck chairs. The pool has a shallow and a deep end unlike other hotels. The land scaping at canto de imbassai has a very jungly vibe to it. And if your lucky, you can find some monkeys in the garden and feed them. The hotel is a short walk to local resteraunts and to a bridge where you can get a boat across the river to the beach. At the beach there is a café and you can purchase fresh coconuts to drink out of and occasionally, a local will grill cheese right in front of you. The waves at the beach are big but if your not a strong swimmer, there is a river that flows into the ocean that is a lot of fun to swim in. The staff at cante de imbassai can organise canoeing trips along rivers. I particularly enjoyed this experience as you could pullover at river banks and explore the surroundings. Overall my trip to imbassai was memorable and the friendly staff ensured that my stay was enjoyable. I would highly recommend Cante De Imbassai to anyone visiting Imbassai.

Reviewed By delachapA big thumb up to this pousada. The staff and owner is very kind and helpful. It is perfectly located on the ocean front, a few steps away from the water. It is close to the restaurant and bars. We stayed in a room on the main building which is the closest to the ocean. The rooms are good with AC and fridge. WiFi works well. Hammocks at disposal make it a perfect stay. The breakfast is delicious. What else to say: don’t miss it. As well, Imbassai is a good location for some rest away from busy towns.

Charming and welcoming
Reviewed By Johny-POAI really enjoyed staying at Pousada Roana. The owner, Roberto, is super friendly and showed me all the rooms and the magic little enchants of his place. Each room is different from another, and each of those is well decoratwd an has air conditioneer and wi-fi. The whole place is peaceful and with nature contact. In two minutes you get to Diogo village and in 15 to the beach.
