Stylish historic stay in Colesberg

The accommodation has a pleasant and respectful "historic" feel to it: it is as if one steps back in time - without missing any necessity or convenience one may want/need. The fine detail displayed everywhere, the lock-up garage, the outside "kuier" area and more make the stay quite unique, relaxing and safe, especially after a day on the road or of exploring the interesting area.. The units are centrally located in peaceful environs, close to all other amenities. Real Karoo cuisine is within easy and safe walking distance, fuel and more is available around the corner. We arrived quite late and were warmly greeted by the management. The family room we booked was incredibly spacious with a double bed and two single beds. Aircon, Dstv, coffee and tea station and very spacious bathroom! I would reccommend the family room because the rate is almost that of any other single room inland with tons more space! I would definitely stay here again without question!

Pleasant and safe accommodation

Reviewed By BWM55

A pleasantly appointed guest house close to the N1 with restaurants wintin 1 km of residence. The room was well appointed and came with crockery and cutlery allowing one to self cater to an extent. There is a microwave and kettle but no other cooking facilities. A few restaurants do deliver and the venue has a list of recommended restaurants to use. The data provided to us on arrival was very good. Parking is very safe in a lock up garage on the premises, behind security fencing. The continental breakfast was in fact already in the room upon arrival. There was yoghurt, fruit juices, milk, bread and butter, 2 muffins in the small fridge. On the cupboard was tea and coffee as well as 2 containers of breakfast cereal. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom well appointed with the necessary toiletries.
