very close to everything, but very quiet
Reviewed By HarriCanadaWe spent 4 nights in Tambo del Solar and have nothing to complain of. Our arrival with Peru Hop was very early in the morning as was our departure on the last day. Both times, the personal was very helpful and supportive. We had room 400 on the roof; it was like a small apartment equipped with fridge, microwave, etc, which we barely used however. The thing we liked best was the hotel's location: very close the everything, but in a quiet neighborhood.

Our hotel is located a few meters from the main square of the city, we have colonial architecture dating from the seventeenth century which has been carefully restored so that our guests can appreciate part of the culture with the modern comforts that a three-star hotel can offer.
Charming hotel
Reviewed By RobertGVAVery good location as it's only 2 blocks away from Plaza de Armas, and many bars and restaurants. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was a fridge but it wasn't plugged in so I don't see the point in having one, stocked with soda and beer. Breakfast was basic but good. Nice staff all around. Free coca tea at the reception. Our room was on the ground floor, so it could get noisy when people got back home late to their own rooms upstairs.

Reviewed By vzmisha4Clean, friendly, nice breakfast, helpful staff. Kindly took out baggage and held it for a 4 night break between our visits whilst we were traveling in Canyon Colca. Offered help with taxis. It's a family-owned large place, so sometimes you have to wait a bit for someone to open the door for you, but it was no problem.

She prepared everything perfectly for us, she put a lot of herself to make our stay outstanding and it was for sure! Nos hemos quedado 3 noches con mis padres y fue muy chevere! julie es muy agradable, puede comunicar muy bien con extranjeros, es bueno para comunicar. There is a lookout point to view the city and a huge terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sun. The Wifi is strong and the included breakfast is with eggs on choice inside.
