A beautiful unspoiled beach perfect for a long walk and photos of the sunrise. See local fauna, seagulls feeding on fish. Just beautiful.

Long Beach

Reviewed By SandraN49 - Gothenburg, Sweden

We had breakfast at the Casino ( excellent!) and then we walked to Long Beach. It was a nice walk and a good place to cool off. Very clean and lovely clear water. It was also sheltered from the wind. Afterwards we walked back to Elizabeth Pier, in Hobart, to our hotel.

Kingston Beach

Reviewed By 3BeachesTasmania - Eggs and Bacon Bay, Australia

This is a long beach which has a range of restaurants, pubs/bars & takeaway food to service a short or long visit. There is a small but good kids playground suited to a younger age group. Beach showers, public toilets & a drinking fountain. Definitely a good spot to frequent.

Opossum Bay Beach

Reviewed By 871archerm

Opossum bay beach is truly amazing. It is warm, and the waters a calm and clear on a sunny day. You can go for walks along the rock pools, dive of the jetty, and at the end of a day at the beach, pop down to the local store for some fish and chips. The sheltered bay is suitable for swimming, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, water biscuiting and other water sports. There is a great view of the mountain when you look across the river. Be sure to visit in summer when it is warm, because the water is cold in winter.

Bellerive Beach

Reviewed By pauldP4317EF

Usually very quiet. Has a great fish & chip shop nearby, so it's great to sit on the beach while you enjoy your meal. I think it's still Dog- friendly, but not summer-time between 8 am to 6 pm.
