Landmark Tavern

Step back in time at this 19th-century tavern located in midtown.

A large group of us spent the day visiting the Intrepid. Different groups of us ended up walking the neighborhood looking for something to eat. We ALL ended up at the Landmark without reservations on a Saturday afternoon. They were very accommodating. The food, the service and the decor of this Landmark Tavern of 150 years old was a great find. The owner was on premise and he was very hospitable. There is something for almost everyone on the menu. It was a great find and we’d definitely return when in the area.

Hibernia Bar and Grill

We used the Hibernia Bar and Grill as our stop off bar on the way back to our hotel after busy sightseeing days in New York. The bar does nice pub style food and has plenty of TV’s for those who enjoy sport. The thing that makes this bar so good though is the staff. From the first night to our last night the service we received was friendly and efficient. The staff helped to make us feel at home which was great in a city like New York. Even helped out with where to go to see some English football. The regulars are friendly and more than willing to offer advice on where to go and what to do. Just a great friendly bar.

We happened upon this bar whilst walking around near 5th Avenue looking for a spot of 'no fuss' lunch. The bar had a decent Vegetarian/Vegan offering and as non red meat eating people this was great. The Vegetarian burger was really good, the service was good and the pricing very reasonable - would recommend

Alfie's Craft Beer Bar

Reviewed By mlharvey86 - London, United Kingdom

We came across this restaurant as we were searching for a good dinner before a night out and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was buzzing on a Saturday night and the bar was busy, though they made room for a party of three. I had a delicious grilled cheese and tomato soup, which seemed like a strange choice but was honestly delicious. There was a lovely fig jam in the cheese sandwich which really made the meal. My friends had the burgers which were equally as good. I would highly advise visiting this bar/restaurant.

O'Lunney's Times Square Pub

Reviewed By brandim3110 - Lynchburg, United States

After a delayed train and missed dinner reservations, this restaurant offered excellent food and friendliness at the end of a busy day. The host staff, every server, and the owner himself treated us like welcome guests for our post-theater dinner. Each of us got a different dish and each was great and well-presented. The dark woodwork, stained glass lamps, candles and flowers on the table, and pub decor created a very pleasant atmosphere. Good variety on the menu with reasonable prices too. Thsnk you!
