Came here with my husband for our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely experience is Cassa de montabalno. Maria the housekeeper was amazing. Very helpful friendly and when we arrived we had to organise a Covid test. She organised it with the help of Ivana and we were very happy that they helped us. Maria was a source of information and arranged us to go on a day tour on a Montabalno Day Tour with Nunzio the taxi driver. We had a wonderful day. I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone who loves the tv show. Only negative was we missed the season and not many restaurants were open but we didn’t starve. We bought our food in the local shop and ate on the balcony in the evening. Thank you for having us!

Mimmo is a superb driver and guide. Informed, considerate and kind, he drove us across Sicily and revealed the character and mystery of Sicily to us along the way with intelligence, good cheer and humor. His English is impeccable. When we return, we will certainly use his services again. We loved Sicily, and Mimmo was a big part of the experience.

Great couple of hours taking part in Italian cooking! See as it was during Covid-19, my partner and I were the only participants. We were greeted by Luca and offered coffee while they prepared the kitchen for us. We helped make bread, learnt how to make macaroni and of course, pizza! we had 2 breaks - and at each, we ate what we made and had a litre of house wine! The macaroni was made into '"pasta alla norma'' and it was my favourite dish of the course. They even emailed us the recipes after. I highly recommend doing this class, it's a cool way to experience with locals.

It was a very thorough trip and I feel that I really got a good idea of Sicily. I liked the tour and did not mind the walking. I was not so happy that we reached our hotel of the night at about 6:30, dinner was usually at 8 which didn't leave too much time in between. After dinner I usually went right to bed and then the bus was usually schedule to leave at about 8 in the morning. One of the hardest things was keeping clothes clean. I think it would have been nicer if they were a laundromat on the trip. Either in the hotel, or close by. I would wash a shirt but it would take a long time to dry. For me, that was the biggest hardship and the other people I spoke with said the same thing. So it was a good trip, but kind of rushed in the evening and the morning and no chance to clean clothes. I planned my day of holiday on the tour from Catania to the Aolian Island that was advertised for the following day. I sent several texts and around 8 emails for them to confirm where they could take me. The answer after 4 emails was just to clarify the question. I phoned at the end of the day and I was told that the tour on Viator for the following day is not theirs. Then I checked again, and I sent another link to show them it was theirs. The woman then told me that it is theirs, but if I book, she will cancel. She said several times "as I told you", with no apology for the false advertising. It seems they do that for a lot of tours. I wanted to rent a car from them in Mazolli, the agents that happened to be theirs were so rude! Don’t trust this company.

We used this company for a week-long trip to Sicily, including airport transfers, hotel transfers between Taormina, Siracusa, and Ragusa, and a few site and winery tours. The driving service was excellent---on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Both Francesco and Luciano were wonderful. We booked a few specialized tours on our own and those turned out to be better than the tours we booked through this company. I think guides can be hit or miss---Mila in Siracusa was wonderful and Teresa in Agrigento was on her telephone the entire time she was with us. The wineries they booked for us were also hit and miss---Murgo on Etna had great wines but we arrived an hour early and had to stand around in the rain, and the biodynamic winery in Noto (Cantina Marilina) had great food but wines that were largely undrinkable. There was also a problem with our chocolate tasting tour in Modica so we missed the laboratory visit. But I can't fault the company for the guides or the wineries, really. They are basically an excellent chauffeur service, and we can wholly recommend using them as a driving service. Their professionalism and courtesy made our holiday stress-free and, given the opportunity, we would book them again.
