We had our wedding reception here and it was a dream!! The price was great; less than expected for such a beautiful place. The staff was always polite and helpful. Our coordinator, Ayah was super helpful and kind. The food and the setup was way more than what we were expecting. Our guests could not finish the amount of food in one night. We also got a complimentary suite for the night which was absolutely amazing!! We wished we had stayed there throughout our entire honeymoon ?. Overall expecting, ????? ten ? We can't wait to go back for our anniversary ❤

Wonderful Honeymoon Getaway

Reviewed By kaitlynncleghorn

We stayed here for a night for our mini-moon after our wedding in early June. The hotel, spa and gardens are absolutely breathtaking. Our room was clean and tidy. Our dinner at The Cannery Restaurant was delicious. My husband had the prime rib and I had the stuffed chicken. We also ate breakfast here the next morning as part of the bed and breakfast package. The staff were courteous and friendly. Everyone was quick to answer any questions. The spa was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed a couples massage and then headed to the hot springs pool before getting ready for dinner. We will definitely be back in the future to celebrate anniversaries! The only feedback we have is that the beds could be a bit comfier. We definitely prefer a plush, soft bed and this one was on the firmer side. Thank you for making our mini-moon one to remember!

Perfect Hotel in Downtown Vancouver

Reviewed By K H

If you are looking for a hotel in downtown Vancouver, you will be over the moon pleased when you book at the Sutton Place Hotel on Burrard St. This hotel has excellent service, the employees are second to none. You can walk to Granville Is, Gas Town, Stanley Park all within a 20 min walk max. The shopping in every direction is excellent. The rooms are updated, well appointed and quiet. Our room had a Nespresso machine in it, which was excellent for a quick morning espresso, before we hit the cafe in the hotel which serves "Seattle's Best Coffee", this cafe knows how to make an excellent "flat white" amongst other specialty coffees. The Boulevard restaurant in the hotel services an outstanding breakfast, I had the farmers breakfast and the eggs benedict several times and both were perfect each time. I did not get the chance to have dinner at the Boulevard, but I heard it was exceptional, with an extensive wine list. Further, there are fabulous restaurants right across the street for lunch or dinner. Now for the real kicker, the 'Wine Merchant" store on the property was too convenient (since we had a small fridge in our room), with a fabulous selection of wines from all over the world. The 2 folks who work in the store are both knowledgeable and friendly. I was at this hotel for 6 nights and all I can say is thank you, to all the employees at this hotel who made it such a great experience. I will be back!!!

BEWARE: Scanning your bracelet opens you up to being overcharged

Reviewed By mikerZ3314NV

We went with a group of friends and their families. This place is nice but they give you a bracelet to scan for your purchases and link your credit card. This is where they overcharge you like no other. We purchased a lunch where they filled in their own tip after we signed the bill. Nachos a small frie and 2 drinks ended up costing 50 when the bills shown to us were $4.50 and $28 . My son played one game of bowling which is a cost of 7$ they charged us 30 and said we were a family of 4. After 2 weeks fighting for a refund they have done nothing. There are better places in Niagara Falls for families stay away from this scam. Other family in our group was overcharged $75 . BUYER BEWARE

Has everything you want

We just had a three night stay here and totally enjoyed ourselves. The room was clean and fully equipped with everything you might need. The pool area was lovely. All the outside areas including the beach was very clean. The bbqs were great and we made good use of them. Parking convenient, underground and no charge. My only comment would be the staff. Most were absolutely friendly, helpful, cheery good mornings..... but we had a couple that I would not describe as rude but very aloof with one word answers. But with that said, that is a minor comment as most were so helpful. We are glad we discovered this place and will definetly be back. Highly Recommend.

Great staycation ... but missing that something extra that makes the FS the FS

Reviewed By pkelamis

We decided to take our oldest son to FS to celebrate this birthday since he is a big fan of hotels. The hotel was fantastic and the accommodations and facilities are great, however, the one thing that was surprising was the inability of the hotel to accommodate my youngest son with his allergies. When we stayed at FS Maui, the kitchen staff was able to provide egg-free pancakes for breakfast but when we called Cafe Boulud they told us that would not be possible and our options were home fries for a 5-year-old with an egg allergy. This was odd just because of our amazing experience at the FS Maui and their ability to accommodate an egg allergy for a young child. This is quite a common allergy and you would think the FS would be able to handle such a request. So what we did do is take the kids to McDonald's for breakfast and my wife and I grabbed brunch. It's something small, but also very surprising for a hotel like the FS to not be able to accommodate such a request especially since it was done in Maui.
