I have visited this bar/restaurant several times during various occasions ......sometimes to have dinner and/or drinks, sometimes for the live music and other times to watch football. The staff are very friendly, the food is usually pretty good, especially the PIZZA!! Drinks are strung and cold. Good place to relax and unwind!

The live entertainment is much too loud such that it forced us to have to eat outside. Outside is nice and great for kids. But we really did not wish to eat with kids and or bugs.

Started off with an adult shake...yum! The burgers were perfectly cooked and crazy good but the truffle parm fries...outstanding! Service was fast and you could tell the staff really enjoyed working there and it reflected in the level of service quality!

First time here, and the burger was great (make sure to get the pretzel bun, and I suggest medium-rare on the burger since their standard medium is closer to a well)! Reasonable prices (food & beer), good food, and a very friendly bartender. We will be back for the burgers, and to try the wings. It's always nice finding a new local bar to frequent.

We went to this Applebee's on a Saturday early evening....hardly anyone was there, not a good sign. The service was barely adequate (had to remind the waitperson a couple of times to bring us my husband's drink and she didn't even know about the senior discount), the entree I usually order at Applebee's wasn't even edible....my husband's and my grandson's was okay, but you really can't mess up a grilled cheese sandwich. My chicken dish was undercooked and rubbery and barely warm. There are plenty of other Applebee's to try....skip this one.

Finally, a promise to bring me a taste of NOLA that delivers! This is a nice, small restaurant serving typical Cajun goodies, albeit mostly on the fried side. They have hands down the best prepared shrimp poboy that Iâve had since moving to DFW 14 years ago. Iâd suggest ordering it w easy mayo but the French bread and healthy shrimp portion was a great combo. I had the fried shrimp and catfish combo and again itâs was plenty - 6 shrimp and 2 large filets. The only thing missing are hush puppies which surprisingly are missing from the menu. Our daughter had chicken tenders which were also good. Also on the menu are burgers, an awesome looking roast beef poboy (w debris!) and plenty of goodies on the appetizer menu. Our first visit but it surely wonât be our last.

We have been to the Hula Hut 3 different times and had 3 different servers. Each server had a great friendly attitude and went out of their way to be accommodating. There was no problem with any special request. I have eaten the shrimp tacos twice and they were great. Just had a burger and it was big and juicy. There was no problem getting it cooked the way you want it. When the server brought my wife's he ask her to check it to make sure it was cooked the way she wanted just like they do in a fancy steakhouse. Our grand kids have been with us each time and they are very accommodating for kids as well. I would recommend this place if you are looking for good atmosphere and casual food. Also the bar drinks are good.RobS3627,We thank you for taking the time to leave us such great feedback, and are excited to hear how much you're three experiences have been successful.
