We went to Sababa for lunch on a Saturday. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the beef schwarma and it was excellent. It was a surprisingly large portion with plenty of beef with enough tahini, onions, and pickles to make it interesting. It was a nice lunch.

Shahrzad Mediterranean Market & Grill

My husband eats here all of the time when in Dallas and I enjoy going also when I am in Dallas. The food is always so fresh and delicious. The quality of the food is exceptional. I don't know how the owners are able to turn out such a great buffet with so many options, all so fresh, at such affordable prices. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The entire place is so clean. My husband is Middle Eastern and very particular about any food that he eats. For this place to be a favorite of his says a lot! As for me, I don't like to eat at restaurants very often. I'm never satisfied and prefer to cook at home. Shahrzad is my nice break that I thoroughly enjoy.

Everything is always fresh and good. They have a wide variety of salads and vegetables. Many different meats. I love the roasted cauliflower and eggplant. the gyro meat is great and lamb shank when they have it. I also like the zatar bread, yum. soft drinks are included, too. so many things to try, can't even begin to sample them all.

Over 20 of our family piled in here about 3pm on a Saturday, mostly for baked desserts and gelato. Pistachio, Chocolate, and Salted Caramel gelatos were excellent, while fruit flavors ranged from super tart (pomegranate, lemon, mango) to overly "perfume-y" (blackberry). Guava was mild and subtle while remaining fruity. Mixed reactions on baked desserts. Pistachio baklava was good while other baklava we had were just so-so. Falafel was pasty and lacked flavor in my opinion. Did not try any meats, hummus, or baba ganoush , but would like to return for a real meal to try some of my favorite Lebanese standards.

Ali Baba Mediterranean Grill

Ate lunch here with some friends and thought the food was really quite good. Everything else though was less than ideal. The waiting area is small and you're often standing in front of one of the two doors constantly moving for people coming and going. The price was $17 per person, which I thought was too high. My favorite Mediterranean food is the gyro, which they couldn't seem to keep stocked. I found myself standing around waiting for the next batch to come out, along with about 6 others as well. While the food was quite tasty, the rest of the experience overshadowed the good. If you go, I would recommend going on off peak times. It did not seem like they were equipped to handle a busy rush.
