McAllen (/mɪˈkælɪn/ mih-KAL-in) is the largest city in Hidalgo County, Texas, United States, and the twenty-second most populous city in Texas. It is located at the southern tip of the state in the Rio Grande Valley. The city limits extend south to the Rio Grande, across from the Mexican city of Reynosa, and McAllen is approximately 70 miles (110 km) west of the Gulf of Mexico. As of the 2010 census the city's population was 129,877, and the population of the McAllen–Edinburg–Mission metropolitan area was 774,769. As of 2016, the city population was estimated to be 142,212. It is the fifth most populous metropolitan area in the state of Texas, and the bi-national Reynosa–McAllen Metropolitan Area counts a population of nearly 1.5 million.

Little lower than Texas Roadhouse quality wise. The waitress was (funny and great customer service) or I would have left, Chile basically a thick spicy marinara type sauce with a little beef in it and some beans with cheese on top, the crackers for the Chile never appeared. Rib Eye cooked as ordered, taste was ok however weight (oz) wise looked smaller than advertised, sides were average to good, Price avg. Hi, Michael. Early lunch before rush lunch time yet orders took forever and staff were not not that attentive, not even refills. Food was ok, I had a shrimp Caesar salad and hubby had a burger. When service is bad you can't enjoy the food. I had to leave my hubby behind to pay so I can go back to work on time.

Thank You Texas de Brazil. Great Veteran's Day Tribute for two days. Aside to the great savings, it was a phenomenal dinner. Robbie was great, very attentive, was disappointed we could not eat more. The venue is great, you can wait at the bar while you wait for your table.Parking can be an issue but there is valet right up front. Make sure you ask when they will stop the service.Make room for the meal, you may want to skip the salad bar but do not. Not a large selection but just enough, Good selection of cheeses, meats, vegetables. Loved the grilled pineapple and salmon.Side bar of soup and sides.The selection of the meats were awesome. Eat until you are past full, just keep the coaster on green. Lamb chop was the best, very succulent and tasty. The fajita was moist and unreal.The bacon wrapped filet was great. The spicy sirloin was great. The pork roast was unbelievable, moist and tender. There were more options but to say but those were my favorites.The bread served took us for a loop, Cheese bread warm and flavor.Kinda gooey in the middle. wow. There was dessert but there was no room. A must visit and again and again.Thank you for the free meals which was not cheap. There were plenty of other veterans that also truly enjoyed their meal. Like Arnold said "I'll be back"

Had been eating a lot of fast food on this quick trip to Texas from Iowa. After many long days of stressful issues for my brother and myself we decided to treat ourselves to a nice steak dinner. Was seated right away, got a cold one from the bar right away and received our food very quickly. Wait staff was awesome. Food was awesome. Not a cheap place to eat but I can't complain because it was a top notch meal

I only visit McAllen once a year. When I do, I always eat here. The food is outstanding. I introduce friends to the menu and they thank me for the recommendation. We always return.The starter, salsa and bean dip is warm and delightful. Then pick any entree, your stomach will thank you.Hi Leslie! We're happy to have you here on your yearly McAllen visit. We were seated without reservations very quickly. Our waiter was very helpful and service was good. There are the usual selections of steaks, seafoods, soups, salads. The prime ribs and other steak selections come in two sizes. The grilled salmon was good. The Caesar salad was tasty. A nice, freshly made, warm round loaf of what seemed to be a honey wheat bread was brought to the table with a small tub of butter. The smothered filet was cooked as ordered as was the prime rib which was not very flavorful but served with a small container of au jus, also not very flavorful. The sweet potato was huge, served smothered with butter as were the regular baked potatoes. The meal was good but the loud noise from surrounding parties was painful. All in all, a typical chain steak house with decent food and service. Prices seemed reasonable.Parking was OK.

Although not a large place the restuarant has a nice ambiance and mannerly waiters.We had Fettuccine alla Bolognese and a large Giardino Salado. Excellent taste. Fettucine could have been a bit warmer and parmesan was not offered until we flagged the waiter down. Bread and the hot oil were really tasty.The price of the brand name coctails(Makers Mark-Tito's Vodka) was exceptional and the drinks were really good.Overall would go back again,due to taste and price. Very good.

We've been to the Texas Roadhouse a few times and the service is always excellent and prompt. Their steaks are moist and tender and the prime rib is also very good. For the price vs quality the Texas Roadhouse can't be beat.If you like a good delicious steak, this is the place to go.

Worth the price! Excellent food, exceptional service and great atmosphere. This is a hidden gem for sure. It higher end but without the upscale dress code. No sandals, hats or beach wear. It would make for a great date or business dinner. Iâll be back.

Iâve been visiting this restaurant for many years for special business occasions. I have always enjoyed this place and my customers have always enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is very elegant and relaxing. I have always enjoyed their guitarist. A perfect opportunity for casual business conversations. The service is also very good. No complaints. The food? Fantastic!Last nightâs meal:AppetizersCrab cakes and Ceviche. Outstanding!Salad:Spinach salad. Excellent!Entree:6 oz. petite tenderloin with a lobster tail.
