Herzliya (/hɜːrtsəˈliːjə/; Hebrew: הֶרְצֵלִיָּה [hɛʁtsɛliˈja]; Arabic: هرتسيليا [hɪrtsiːlja]) is an affluent city in the central coast of Israel, at the Northern part of the Tel Aviv District known for its robust start-up and entrepreneurial culture. In 2016 it had a population of 93,116. Named after Theodor Herzl, the founder of modern Zionism, Herzliya covers an area of 21.6 square kilometres (8.3 sq mi). At its western municipal boundaries is Herzliya Pituah, one of Israel's most affluent neighborhoods and home to numerous Embassies, as well as prominent Israeli business people.

It can be crowded and noisy inside, but they run their takeaway (and delivery) through a separate entrance. Website and phone service makes ordering easy, our order was ready when we arrived, and the food was fine. An option if you are in a Herzliya hotel - or want to make a picnic at the beach!

Yamatoya is a great Japanese restaurants. They carry high quality fish and seafood and create delicious authentic dishes. They make sure to take seriously any allergy or special needs concerning the food (for example, they make the gluten-free sushi on a special cutting board dedicated only to gluten-free dishes).

The restaurant is located in the commercial area of Herzliya, does not guarantee a good atmosphere and not a location with a beautiful view. Also finding parking is not always easy. But everything else is excellent. The restaurant is good, the food is excellent, the service is excellent and the value is very good. We enjoyed and will return. recommended.

This restaurant is AMAZING. The waiters are extremely knowledgeable about the menu items. We basically let our waiter choose our meal and we were not disappointed.My husband declared the Toro tartare the best dish he ever ate.We also had the SALMON MATSURI and 2 special sushi rolls.Everything was exquisite and delicious.Not to be missed.

Many years ago this was a fancy Chinese restaurant but now it's a simple place with cheap chopsticks and paper menus. Nonetheless, the food is surprisingly good. I wasn't impressed by their sushi but they make a hell of a Thai coconut soup, so spicy and delicious! With just the right amount of lemon grass. Their dim sum is tender and tasty. Skip the sushi and try the warm dishes. Will be back.

The fusion idea seems to be taking on in many places around the world, and to be honest it doesn't always work very well.This place seems to get it right though.Location was very nice, facing the marina, with large terrace out front, and next to a mall convenient for parking.They have managed to mix sushi and Japanese flavours with Mediterranean.Perhaps it is because both contain fish, and both play a lot with sweet/sour sauces.My colleagues and I had lunch menus.My starter was sashimi, while for main I had a mixed mediterranean salad.I fully intend to go back there next time I visit the area.
