Twenty of us had booked for 6.30pm. Drinks were ordered at that time. 55 minutes later four of us were still awaiting our drinks and had I not spoken to the supervisor, we would perhaps still be waiting. Our second visit to this restaurant - this time to celebrate a birthday.We enjoyed our first visit but this experience was superior. Every aspect had improved: kitchen noise was minimal, wait staff were excellent and the restaurant was full on a Monday evening. Not a tour group in sight either.The scallops were delicious for entree as was my fish for main course. The birthday boy really enjoyed his lamb dish. Our choices for dessert - semifreddo & apple strudel - were light & tasty. Wines were exceptional. An excellent range of Tasmanian wines as well as some mainland offerings.

We visited at about 5:45 on a Saturday night. At the time the restaurant was only about half full.The wait staff were very good but that where it ended. The food took over 70 minutes to arrive.The food was overcooked and not what we expected

Outstanding. Clean. Affordable, Great Breakfast & great hosts/owners.We had a great room with a queen & single bed. Room was spacious, clean and had everything you could want or need.We couldnât fault our stay and would definitely RECOMMEND & we look forward to returning again & again. Our new affordable place to stay in Launceston.

Consistently has one of the best coffees in Launceston. Staff are awesome, and easy to chat to if you have any special requirements. The cafe has a car park behind the cafe or on street parking, making this cafe an easy place to catch up with friends / family. The menu always changing and the food is delicious. Highly recommend a visit.

We stopped here twice on our 2-day visit to Launceston: once for a quick drink, and then the next day for lunch. The staff were fabulous, just so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The wine & beer list is extensive and interesting, and we enjoyed sampling a couple.For lunch, we chose from the snacks menu and shared sweet potato chips and a pizza - perfect! When we passed by one evening, it appeared to be very popular for dinner, too.Highly recommend.
