WE ARE IN HIBERNATION MODE, SEE YOU AGAIN WHEN WE REOPEN IN NOVEMBER! Come and enjoy a crepe or a waffle whilst sampling or enjoying a cider from the Pagan Cider cellar door. We have a wide range of both sweet and savoury crepes and waffles, a la carte or
Pandemonium Food Van provides freshly made savoury & sweet crepes, waffles & more at the locally iconic Pagan Cider - makers of alcoholic craft ciders grown at the orchard on site. Run by a charming French couple, the food is a much appreciated complement to the ciders available at the Pagan Cider Cellar Door. We had a savoury buckwheat crepe with egg, ham & cheese ($16) & the Croque ham & cheese waffle ($10) which were served with side salads, tasty & a good portion size. The sweet apple crepe did not disappoint. There is an outdoor seating area overlooking Huon Valley countryside & a rustic indoor area inside the converted fruit shed. Kid friendly, with plenty of pram space. Just a few minutes outside of Cygnet, well worth a visit.Hi Cherie,Hope you're well? Just a note to let you know we have now closed the cafe for the season and we'll reopen around November. I'm updating the website and listing so hopefully that's all up to date. Hope all is going well for you, I'm sure it is, you seem to have a terrific place. And if you ever want to practice your french, let us know it'll really be with pleasure, best contact is probably the mobile (0449225453)!Eric and Lynda

Built in 1932, the iconic Kermandie Hotel remains the heart of Port Huon. In the evening relax by the fire in the guest lounge before dinner. The restaurant and bar serve carefully crafted meals featuring local produce, along with hearty, traditional pub
HUGE main course (should've ordered entree size), so much so could not fit in dessert. Staff attentive and pleasant. View across the Harbour is serene and adds to the experience. We booked a few hours prior to evening meal. Must stop and do if driving through at a meal time!Thank you for dining with us and for leaving a review.

We had had a relative recommend this cafe and it lived up to expectations. We were able to choose from a number of foodstuffs for inclusion in a semi individualised breakfast. Three of us all chose something different with eggs, bacon and toast being common to all. One had mushrooms, spinach and potato, one had spinach, avocado and halloumi and one had sausage, halloumi add baked beans. All three plates were a yummy feed and none of us needed lunch after that. Juice and coffee were great too.

We selected this restaurant as there are not a huge amount of places to eat in Huonville and the reviews on TripAdvisor were, on the main, pretty good.We had booked and the place was pretty busy with a couple of big groups. I ordered the mushrooms as I wasn't very hungry and my husband ordered the chicken schnitzel.I'm not sure who serves mushrooms with 3 cheeses, but the overall taste was not fabulous and the mushrooms were very tiny.My husbands chicken schnitzel came with a mustard seafood sauce, salad & chips. Quite a bit weird. Edible, but just.Maybe we just ordered the wrong meals - staff were attentive, wines were well priced, but food very average.Hello, sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us at Rustic Reflections. We would like to point out that the mushrooms are only served in an entree serving size, and as they are small we still give 8 mushrooms per plate. As for the schnitzel, you may have ordered the Logan Special which is a chicken schnitzel served with prawns and hollandaise sauce, this could be mistaken for a regular schnitzel with your choice of sauce. We like to ask all of our customers how their meals are going before they have finished, hopefully next time you come down you can tell us while youâre here so we can make your experience more enjoyable. Thankyou, Owner.

Fat Pig Farm is mixed farm in southern Tasmania. We raise Wessex saddleback pigs alongside a small herd of beef cattle, two dairy cows and a large market garden. Our on-farm dining room is open once a week for a long table feast of farmhouse goodness.
Tasty and interesting place that requires planning to visit. Very limited opening hours but well worth the effort. A more unusual dining experience where the relationship between food served and where it came from was emphasized (the surrounding farm). A tour of the farm was part of the fun so walking shoes mattered. Also an interesting dining format where everyone sat at one long tableHello Brontravels,Thank you for your lovely review. (Walking shoes matter!) We're glad you enjoyed the experience. Enjoy the rest of your travels.Sadie

Looking for somewhere to eat and came across their sign saying "all day eating". Stopped for a late lunch and we were not disappointed. Staff members were welcoming and told us we could sit anywhere. Meals are ordered from the bar and they had a good selection of wines to choose from. The smoked salmon and brie was a hearty serve on Turkish bread. Prawns and steamed vegetables were freshly prepared and again a generous serving was given. Would recommend the food here.

Three of us went here for lunch 'on the off chance'. The setting is less than salubrious but the food was well above expectation. Beautifully fresh, well presented and excellent quality. Definitely worth revisiting. It became quite busy but the service remained at a high standard.

Frank's Cider House & Cafe is located in the historic riverside town of Franklin in the beautiful Huon Valley. Just 40 minutes south of Hobart, it is open 7 days a week from 10 am - 5 pm. Enjoy free tastings of Frank's multi award winning fruit ciders, as
Visiting the Huon Valley, was enhanced by a visit to Franks. A quaint setting and excellent displays of history in the apple industry was in addition to good food. A range of ciders was available to taste, and wholesome food available. There was even a goat to pat!Glad you had a great time Lady HAS :) Sorry for the delayed response!!
