Ossu is the long awaited answer to the prayers of burger loving vegans in Tartu. Frontrunner in both vöner and beyond meat, it was the place where I first tried 'em and fell in love immediately. Before those two in Ossu, I ordered the pulled carrot burger and vegan dogs, which both have a nice homely feel. Also, don't forget the friest, which are amazing. PS! If you're still hungry, take the salted caramel shake, it's godly!

Visiting my son in Tartu who dances with the Vanemuine Ballet, we were invited to the birthday party of one of the dancers. They had just finished a performance and came in a large group to Kolm Tilli, a favourite of the birthday girl herself. Everyone had pre-ordered but the restaurant couldnât be sure of the exact time of arrival. The staff handled the drinks orders really fast and well and water was provided to the whole group. My own Tuna Pizza and my sonâs Chicken Pizza were really good and the general opinion around the group was mostly positive. I was impressed by the efficiency with which such a large group was served; capably and unobtrusively (but pleasantly) by the waitresses. Payment at the end was conducted in a slick and easy manner. This is not easy with diverse orders from a large group. I would add that the web site photos donât do justice to the real thing - especially the fish and chips! So well done Kolm Tilli, I donât think this is the last large party youâll cater for!

BabyBack in Tasku is like others BabyBack Restaurants in Estonia. Good American Syle food with the interior. I took Pork Neck and I was surprised that amount of food was less then I expected. In US restaurant you expect one big portion. But taste of food was good and this compensated for a small portion.

Came for late âsnackâ. The selection of food is enourmous - from tomahawk to 5.3 kg burger (48 hour advance order). The burger list is long (most pf the quite similar to each other). We had Juicy Lucy (with BBQ sauce) and nexican burger (needs more jalopenos). Both were good quality, low priced and large.
