2016年8月18日白浜のホテルで1泊して、その帰りにトリップアドバイザーに写真が載っていなかったパン工房Lolieの写真を取りに行きました。そのすぐそばに丸長があり、私が外観と入口の写真を撮影していると、ここの女将が出てきました。トリップアドバイザーに写真を載せたいと言うと、中に招き入れて、ペットのクエのはなちゃんの写真を撮らせてくれました。更に、驚いたことに、トリップアドバイザーのことを、知っていたことです。
この店では、釣り堀で釣った魚を調理してくれたり、シーカヤックのガイドツアーもやっています。店内の店員は、若い女性が多く、女将がクエを触って後に、即座におしぼりを差し出すなど、従業員の教育が行き届いていることが分かりました。
みなべに帰る途中で、パン工房で、パンをすでに注文していたことから、食事することはしませんでしたが、快く、店内の写真を撮らせてくれて、色々と説明をしてくれた女将の懐の広さに星5つです。

We went to the Ko Sushi restaurant for lunch prior to our arrival in Shirahama. The food was excellent, lobsters both sashimi made or grilled were fresh and very yummy indeed. The sushi and other seafood offered in the restaurant are of utmost excellence made by experienced chefs. The service was also excellent, waiters enjoy their work in the restaurant and staff even proactively gave us tea in a new cup and wet towels. The ambience was very good, it is filled with Japanese styled environment such as a small lake outside installed with flowing water. The tatami styled dining area was cosy and installed with a heater, which gave warmth to our feet. The price was although expensive, quite reasonable. Staff even gave some mandarins to us without a charge. Overall, a really excellent meal and deserves the five star tripadvisor ranking. Well Done!

I decided to visit Milk and Beer hall 99 after Reading all the amazing reviews on Tripadvisor, and I can say, with conviction, that this restaurant lived up to the hype. It was the best Italian food id had not only in Japan but ever. The pizzas are incredible! The ingredients they use are just so fresh and deliciously seasoned. I also would recommend the desserts- I had the cheesecake (which was incredibly delicate and so soft. Tasted amazing with the berry sauce on the side) and crime brûlée (just incredible). The staff were also so friendly. I had the most amazing time. Without a doubt one of the best meals I've had in Japan! Would highly recommend.

Very popular restaurant that was at capacity at 6pm on a Tuesday, we chose to wait an hour to get seats and it was worth the wait!
The sashimi sets are a house speciality & presented beautifully, layers of fish arranged over crushed ice in bamboo buckets. It has an open kitchen so you can see the chefs hard at work, slicing/dicing & grilling meats & fish over charcoal.
Family friendly & would advise booking in advance.

やっぱりモスバは他と違ってとびきり美味しい。注文してから作る本物のハンバーガーで、純国産の素材を使っている。作り立てだからアツアツで美味しいし、バーガー以外でもモスチキンもとびきり美味しい。白浜のこの店は、国道から右に折れて白浜に行く途中にあるから、行きかえりに時々よるけど、いつも美味しくていいよ！

目の前で揚げた天ぷらを3回くらいに分けて持って来てくれるので、アツアツの天ぷらがいただけます。ランチメニュー（エビつくし）は、大ぶりのエビが３尾入っています。天つゆのほかには、カレー塩、抹茶塩などが用意してあるので、天つゆ以外の味も楽しめました。ごはんの量（大・中・小）も自分の好みで選べます。

特急が止まる駅なのに、駅前にはコンビニもありません(^^;
飲み屋はあるものの、ランチで検索してもそんなに出てこない…中、駅から徒歩2分程度で、すごくわかりづらいですが、電柱にある看板を信じて小路を進むと、ありました！
ガラガラと戸を開けると、どうやってこのお店知ったの～？と気さくに話しかけてくれるおばさま。ネットで好評価なんですよ、というととても嬉しそうにしてました。
ランチは1000円の定食のみですが、刺身にサラダにたまごやき、温泉卵、揚げたての様々な野菜スティック天ぷらに…とまだまだおかずいっぱい！それにケーキとコーヒーまでついて、このお値段は驚きでした。
夜もあいてますが、駅そばでランチに困ったらおすすめです！

Our first night in Japan and the guesthouse we were staying in recommended this spot for dinner. What a treat, the food was great and the warmth and hospitality shown by the okasan was absolutely amazing. She even brought out a notebook with some english phrases asking us if we would like more rice or coffee after our meal. The beer was cold, the food traditional and tasty and service was right. Worth a meal when if you find yourself in Tanabe.

Popped in here in search of something deep fried and was amply rewarded with pork cutlet (tonkatsu) that was a little bit of heaven. Prices are reasonable, service is excellent, and menus are available in English, Japanese, and point-and-shoot (photos of the food).

We had lunch here, and were very happy with the choice made (thanks to the reviews we had read on Tripadvisor). We found the food delicious (and none of us is vegetarian). We particularly enjoyed the Jerusalem artichokes, the mashed potatoes, the rice porridge, and the Japanese dessert set. The atmosphere and decor are lovely. There is also a nice little shop attached.
