I visited here few years back and since then I visit regularly whenever I come to Coimbatore.They have maintained the same great taste and quality with cleanliness.The place is basic with a limited menu but it has the best food and that too on dirt cheap prices.The staff is courteous and welcoming.The service is also very quick.

This restaurant of Annapoorna is located on the way to Coimbatore Railway Station (nearer to Railway Station) at Mettupalayam Road. We had been to this restaurant for our snacks and Juice while going to Coimbatore Railway Station. The restaurant is a big one with quick service. Welcome Customer service... Service is fast... OK ambiance. We had taken Bondas and Fresh Fruit Juices... Good one... Cost is also moderate.. They also serve sweets and snacks...

If you want a taste of some good local delicacies, this is the place for it. The food was amazing and very tasty. I felt that the portions were just nice for 1 person and gives you the opportunity to taste different verities. Good for families and exceptionally fast service.

From the earlier traditional restaurants, Valarmathi has upped the taste bud quotient, and has become a must eat joint for all visitors ! While the overall ambience is nothing great, the mantra is fill up and move ! The non-veg food is amazing and the place is buzzing with activity by the time it opens..the faithful troop in and are setaed till service begins !

Made an extra effort to have breakfast from this iconic place, which I have been frequenting since 1975. The taste of idly vada sambar is par excellence. they have maintained the taste and service all these years. I visited their old restaurant. Though it needs a bit of face lift, the place is clean and service is excellent.A must visit place while passing through Coimbatore

Alas, the once go to brand restaurant in Coimbatore is now the restaurant where no one should ever go. Their sweets and savouries are the best, but please don't eat at the restaurant. The taste and especially quality has gone down the barrel. We get upset stomach almost every time we have eaten there. I had already said this in another review, but had no option but to visit their restaurant again and it was the same again, we ended up with upset stomach and the taste was just about. Their once famous sambar is pathetic nowadays.

I have been a regular at Thali Lunch at Anandhas near Lakshmi Mills Junction. The lunch is very comprehensive, tasty, value for money and has a lot of variety. It is pipping hot and the Service is good.It is advisable to go around 1:00 PM if you do not wish to wait. If you visit between 1:30 and 2:30, you may be required to wait or share your table. Either way, it would be worth it.
