El Muelle is always packed in the weekends and that's for a good reason. It offers a large menu of local seafood dishes and even things like lobster. The place is brand new and well maintained, it has A/C too, just be careful with the floor, it's really slippery!! The food is great, fresh ingredients, and nice dish presentation. The prawn cocktail was plentiful and the fish fillet tasty. Prices are on the high end but justified by quality and size of the dishes. Cards accepted and no problem invoicing. I will surely return to try other dishes.

if you happen to visit Tampico and want a good steak, head for Parrilla Puerta 27 in Plaza Herradura... you will also have access to the Basilico menu which happens to be next door... not only a solid option for steaks, fish lovers will feel at home as well...

Both the seafood and meats were very good, as well as the caldo de jaiba served as as a pre dinner sampler. The decor and service were quite pleasing. The only negative was, as in most locations in Tampico, the security in parking was non existent. However, we will return, again, with this in mind, as our vehicle was broken into on our last visit.

Right on the Hidalgo Avenue this place is almost a landmark in Tampico. It has been here for years, and the quality of the food and service will never dissapoint you.Try the seafood combination for appetizer, or the empanadas argentinas, the bife is fantanstic and seafood is always fresh. One type of food I love is Sea Food, and this place has one of the best in Tampico. You can find a variety of dishes that can delight your mouth, all the ones I have tried have very fresh ingredients (especially shrimps). In addition, the attention of waiters is very good, have very reasonable prices, have free valet parking, kids area, and a complete family environment that makes you feel you are at home... I would highly recommend it.

Super atmosphere, great decor and excellent service. We sat in the back portion of the restaurant, near the bar. Wonderful crab, amazing steamed fish and delicious, perfectly cooked beef. This is one of the best seafood restaurants I have been to anywhere. The crab, or "jaiba" was outstanding, as was the crab with cheese tortillas, a truly fantastic dish. Just thinking anout it makes me smile. We also enjoyed some wonderful whole fish which tasted fantastic. The person who took us here is a regular and had a great rapport with the staff. Service was excellent. We were in the middle dining room which has a wonderful collection of die-cast model vintage cars in cabinets covering the walls. Super atmosphere, amazing food... if I ever get the opportunity to go back to this brilliant establishment I will not hesitate.

Great service, great food and great price. We were able to have dinner here twice on our trip. There may be a third trip before we leave. Try the grilled octopus, they grill it fresh for each dish.
