As we would not understand what items were, on the menu, we basically thought we could not go wrong with cheese toast, however, it was far too much cheese, which drowned out the toast and it ended up being greasy. Not a fan of this item, but I think this is the way they eat in Switzerland.

Relaxed dining experience with really good food. Might seem a bit basic (order at the bar, your name is called to collect your food, and you need to clear your own table), but the food is really good. Nice burgers. Nice drinks (weisses blanche lager, swizzly cider).Cash only, but there is an ATM in reception.Thanks for your kind review! We like to keep things simple and focus in the important stuff: good food & drinks for an affordable budget!

When you tire of schnitzel and rosti, check out The 3 Tells Irish Pub. Very cozy ambience and friendly service. If you're an Irish pub lover from the States like me, you'll feel right at home. We were in Interlaken for a week and had dinner twice at 3 Tells. The burgers are hearty, juicy, and very tasty. Fish and chips was very good, though the cod was a bit overcooked. Excellent range of beers on tap, decent local white wine, and a terrific soundtrack, ranging from classic American blues to Tom Petty. Yes, it might feel like cheating if you're an American in Interlaken, but really, there's only so much schnitzel a girl can eat.
