This hotel and restaurant is just couple steps away from I lived in Bivio town nestled in the middle of Swiss Alps and probably itâs the largest hotel in this neighbourhood. The Grischuna Restaurant can be seen by the mountains river that runs just next to it. It has indoor and outdoor sitting. Beautiful cozy ambience with their windows overlooking the villages in valleys of Swiss Alps and surrounding Jura. Everyone in this place is naturally kind and helpful. Could be better than some neighbouring countries...the Swiss hospitality. The menus is three to four times costs than Chiavenn a nearby Italian border City but worthwhile since quality and privacy matters.The best way to get a closer view of the Alps is by sitting on outdoor dinning. They even have an old vintage colour tramp or train sets as dining place too. The best time to be here is after 7 pm where you could get to feel the breezy cold evenings. It has a wide open roadside fronting the Alps and spacious for parking.Donât forget to bring along your jumpers or jackets and lip-gloss. The weather is unpredictable in Swiss Alps by nightfall. Nach dem Skifahren ist das Kaffee Roccabella eine gute Wahl. Direkt beim Skilift gelegen und mit Sitzgelegenheiten draussen kann man sich durch das Frauenteam verwöhnen lassen. Der Kaffee ist ausgezeichnet und der hausgemachte Heidelbeerkuchen mit Rahm schmeckt wundervoll. Empfehlenswert.

We stumbled upon this lovely little farmhouse complete with cows/hay etc.The very nice lady made the best Hot Chocolate that I have ever had. presumably with her cow's milk.Wow, what a treat.

Spent an evening at this unique Berghaus. The road up to this plateau at almost 2'000 m altitude is a bit tough but doable unless you take your Porsche....It is amazing what Renske & Werner "vom Berg" prepare in their kitchen. It's worth a high Gault/Millau ranking! They use only top-quality products and an innovative preparation. Our menu consisted of (in german, sorry):- Oliventartelette mit Forellentartare- Feige mit Parmaschinken & Hirschfarce im Champignon auf Sellerie-Salat mit Granatapfel- Pastinakencrème mit Ingwer- Rehkeulensalpikon mit Eierschwammsauce mit Kartoffelstock an Safran & Rotkraut- Bitterschokoladen-Mousse mit Chili & Erdbeere.Delicious! Their wine offer is vast and well selected. The interior is very cozy and welcoming and service impeccable.
