Good eatery - buffet lunch with soft drink included for 89 Swedish krona. Just a few hundred metres from the station as we had an hours wait on our next train.Seating inside and out and good clean toilets .

We really enjoyed the pizza here the chef also cooked us curry pizza wow thanks guys. We definitely be back again when we visit Sweden.

Calm,relaxed and very friendly staff.Ordered the buffet of chinese food.Fried prawns,stews with for example beef,perfect cooked rice and very good sweet and hot sauce all taste very good.Table with fresh sallad,bread and good dressing(very good to put on fried prawns).After food coffe with vanilla taste included in buffet good taste and unusual.Alcohol can bee ordered to food,for example the good swedish beer Mariestads.Atmosphere is friendly and relaxed with impressive hight to the roof,you do not get claustrophobic in here:) Aquarium with fishes keeps you company while eating.Best:fried prawns Worst:No beer on tapBest restaurant in Alvesta a hidden gem were you always feel welcomed :)Only 10 minutes walk from train station.

A popular cafeteria restaurant with focus on lunches at very good price (Febr. 2018 79 Krona). Three main courses daily with salad on buffet. Also coffee included. Typical Swedish food. Eaten there on visit in Alvesta ten times, never disappointed. Many locals eat there. The place is inside a furniture shop, so you enter the shop first.
