Ate here twice at lunchtimes during my stay, itâs not cheap but you expect that due to its location and decor thereâs certainly been a few bob spent on the place.On both occasions I was short changed by 100 baht. The first time I put down to a genuine mistake , but apparently not as exactly the same thing happened on my second visitIâm not saying donât go because itâs a stunning location and the food is quite good , just make sure you check your changeThank you for bringing this issue to my attention. As when receiving back change from anywhere it is always advisable to check you have received the correct change. I'm sorry to hear that this happened twice whilst you were with us, I will be looking into this to avoid it happening to anyone else.If you have time, I have sent you a private message to request a few more details about your experience to help me investigate further.I hope you can join us again soon.

Itâs only a small place with a few tables, there is plenty to choice from.Some of the dishes were lovely and some with not like Iâve had before, not like Tapas In Spain so that was a little bit of a let down. Service was good and very friendly, try the house wine that good value and nice.

Located on Beach Road in the heart of the Fishermanâs Village. This is definitely not one of your standard Thai/Italian eateries, which there seem to be an abundance on Samui. 2 Fishes Samui would not be out of place with the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne.Itâs modernist decor, exposed polished concrete environment and black timber is actually quite comfortable. The placement of the kitchen within the restaurant allows patrons to watch the chefs at work. You can tell that owner/chef, Leandro, has worked in quality restaurants around the world just by the layout, the immaculate/cleanliness of the kitchen and the pride he has in his staff and the quality of the food.For starters we went with the Queenfish Carpaccio and the Roasted Eggplant puree, dry Olives, Pomegranate, Pecorino Cheese and Crostini. Both of our starters were amazing, full of flavour and impeccably presented.For mains we had the Prawn Risotto and Wilted Broccoli & Ricotta filled Tortellini with a pork sausage and white wine sauce. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, al denta just the way it should be.Highly recommended if you are looking for great Italian food and are happy to pay the price for a quality dining experience. You canât go wrong with eating at 2 Fishes Samui.

A wonderful restaurant overlooking the northern beaches of Samui. Went for a romantic anniversary celebration and were not disappointed. Service was an expected high level as was the restaurant setting and ambience. There were several families there with young children, but no issues with any noisy inconveniences. The food was delicious but I lost my notes about what we both had...so sorry that there are no descriptions of the food but it was fine dining standard, worthy of a dinner for our 15th wedding anniversary. We were resort hopping around Koh Samui & dropped into the Four Season Resort for lunch at Pla Pla beachfront restaurant. We were warmly greeted as day guests & our table overlooking the water was beautiful. The resort is totally gorgeous & one day Iâm coming back to stay here. Our dishes were very tasty & very well presented. Staff were extremely attentive & friendly. Itâs not cheap but we thought it was worth it just to experience the Four Season Resort. We visited the Prava a few times when we stayed in Maenam for holiday. The food is excellent, especially the hummus, flat bread pizza and quesadillas. Everything feels very homemade and with a slight touch to the organic/vegetarian taste.

Have been to many restaurants on Samui and have to say that I found the perfect pizza here. Alan is a top Italian chef that runs a clean and efficient kitchen that turns out authentic Italian food. Great staff and good prices make Chef Alan and the whole team at Da Bardo the place to go on Samui for Italian food.

We came here to celebrate our 10yr wedding anniversary after our friends from home recommended this restaurant. Paolo greeted us and explained the menu. He is very passionate about the food and took time to explain the menu and ingredients.We had the bruschetta burrata for entree. The kids shared the orecchiette. My husband had the rolled roast pork, I had the pappardelle bolognese and we had some leafy greens âsaladeâ. Weâve travelled around Italy and the food here is authentic and top quality. Paolo, thank you for being a graceful host we had a great meal. My daughter especially loved the bruschetta burrata. She is still talking about it a few days later. The restaurant is outside the busy fisherman village area but definitely worth a visit. It was luckily just a short walk across the road from where we were staying at Zazen.
