The food is really good here. We have tried a couple different pasta dishes (eggplant parm, scampi, lobster ravioli) and pizza/calzone. We enjoy it every time we visit, we have gotten take out a couple times and it isn't quite as good.

Doing a charity cycle ride from Miami to San Francisco and stopped here for a sandwich.
Beef, ham, Turkey, wrap on white was delicious. Followed by brownie cheesecake.
Just short of $8 dollars seemed value to money for me.
I strongly recommend you stop here and say hello. I think the do events too so they'll come to you if not!

I had some of the best crayfish etouffee ever. It was full of crayfish, spicy, and flavorful! Had a side salad, and fried okra. All were really good. The restaurant was noisy. Server was attentive. A really nice family restaurant!

We visited Sulphur (Lake Charles, LA area) for the Louisiana State Championship swim meet recently and some other members of our swim team were heading to Winkydoo's Malt Shop so we decided to meet them there. A quiet little home grown ice cream shop, nice staff and tons of selections of Blue Bell Ice Cream including many flavors you probably haven't heard of and haven't seen on your grocers shelves.
Very convienent location, close to the interstate and we are glad we stopped in and surely would recommend to anyone in the area.

You can get a fantastic plate lunch here. They offer many different options too! They have a complete menu with lots to pick from. Only time I did not get the plate lunch, I got a sausage link on a bun and it was excellent. They also have a large variety of meats and sausage for sale among other items as well. Friendly people! Clean place! Love to eat there when in Sulphur. Highly recommend if you are short on time for lunch!

Had lunch with 4 business associates - great place to eat & talk work. There's a great lunch buffet available with fried chicken, meat loaf, fried fish, salad bar to name a few items. Also, there are a bunch of menu items to choose. I picked a ribeye which was cooked perfectly. One of my work associates selected popcorn shrimp off the menu which came with boudin balls and onion rings. Huge platter of food - looked awesome!

we stop, looking for a local eatery. The burgers were enormous and were excellent. Cooked to taste with all the trimmings, there really wasn't a need for anything else. We were heading back to Texas from Lake Charles the day after Christmas and really wanted great margaritas and Mexican food. (The restaurant we wanted to go to at the Nugget was closed.) I googled restaurants in Sulphur and found this restaurant to have good reviews. It was easy to find, right off the interstate. We did not care for the parking lot....it needs some TLC. But inside, it was a treat.....plenty of warm chips and okay salsa. The hit right away was the margaritas......glad we both got a large, frozen....very good! We decided to go all out and got the fajitas for two, mixed, including shrimp. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and had left overs to bring home. Our waitress, Summer, was great! We will be back.

My wife loves to eat here and always orders the chicken and dumplings. I on the other hand order whatever I am in the mood for. I have had smothered pork chops, rib-eye, meatloaf, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, etc. Very friendly service and good food. However if you get there right at lunch time, chances are you are going to have to wait on a table. But it is worth it. They have a large gift shop with tons of stuff for any age and gender. They are just off 1-10 so people traveling the interstate can easily get off and get on.
