Situated just outside the village, reached by a long gravel road delightful position and well built mountain hut. Following this my eulogies STOP. My memories are more focused on the almost rude attitude of the senior staff/owners, who seemingly showed some resentment to diners. Our feeling was that we were unwelcome and perhaps even a nuisance. The food was typically Austrian, produced in large quantities, tender but pretty tasteless. I cannot therefore recommend a visit, other than its unique location. There are far more enticing restaurants in the area worth visiting. Certainly for me this was my 1st and positively the last visit to this Hut.When will some restaurants realise that the dining experience is only one component of why customers visit a restaurant. Is giving a welcome smile and cordial service too much to expect?

Lovely place in the beautiful Styria - the scenery looks like it has been taken right from Sound of music. Its a small place but genuine and has great food and soo much. I had the most tender and tasty ribs. The owners are so sweet - good, honest and funny - makes you feel welcome. I really recomend it and l longing to come back.

this should be the best food in the region and fits perfect for families and for business. luch is extremly cheap and really good. dinner is so lovely but has its price.it is not like the other restaurants around just for fast food, no they have the real slow food to enjoy the full evening.and they have the large selection of nice wine too.

Perfect pizza's! No better place in Austria. On Tuesdays always typical Aistrian music. For kids a lot of places to play outside.

We always come here to take away some delicious 'knödels'. It's also possible to eat in. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. One of the best places in town to have lunch or take away some meat. Really good quality!

It is a little ride to get there but it is really worth it! Not only the view from up there is awesome, also the food. I can really recommend the Schnitzel im Mandeln. Not something you see in other restaurants!Service is very, very friendly, also a reason to keep coming back.

This isn't a restaurant that relies on passing trade as it is nestled in the woods and hidden up a small track. However, it is well worth searching for. Plenty of seating both outside and inside with lovely views towards Bad Mitterndorf and the mountains. The food was very tasty and portions were generous. Service was excellent and our host was happy to talk about the local mushrooms (and brought some out for us to see) that were included in one of the dishes. We thought the prices were also very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. Only here for a holiday but will be making a return visit before we leave.

Hutte on nice location in the sun. Started by reading the menu, I have seen them on most continent in the world. But this was so complex we decided to skip some food. When asking if we could eat some cake, bu referred back to this menu. So, we ordered drinks only. The radler was not my tast. Besten Dank für die Bewertung.Für selbsternannte Gastrokritiker sollte man sich die Karte wo eine genaue Aufklärung über unsere Genussmittel, Getränke, Speisen, Menüs und vieles mehr, drinnensteht und die ständig abwechslungsreich ist durchlesen! Ich lege wert auf hausgemachtes, darum kann es sein das es geschmackliche Abweichungen von industriellen gefertigten Produkten gibt. Bei eurer konsumentation ( Radler ) finde ich es nicht angebracht über Preis-Leistung zu schimpfen. Wir werden unseren Kurs beibehalten und nicht den Mainstream (Industrie, junkfood) hinterherlaufen. We went here twice on our trip that lasted one week. There were many interesting choices on the menu, also good vegetarian ones. I had some very nice asparagus and my bf good meat dishes. Prices are affordable. The menu was not the same on our next visit the following day and that was a bit confusing, maybe because it was a friday evening.

Roland is managing the kitchen by himself. Only one more is helping for service in the restaurant. This is how a good chef operates. Good quality and always helpful for special requests. Taste and quality is just fine. One advice: after visiting dorfschmiede more then 4 years a new menu may be in place
