We are located close to all amenities and walking distance to the main swimming beach (14km of sandy beach).
Incredible experience
Reviewed By dutoit2022Even though I only stayed for one night. Was it the most delightful experience I have had in a long time. Mermaid Guest House accommodated me even though I have arrived at a despicable time. My stay was incredible, beautiful rooms and incredible service! I would definitely recommend them to anyone that would consider to stay there.

Reviewed By spudomaniaExceptionally friendly service, especially as we arrived quite late and the owner was very kind to us. Beautiful and comfy rooms, very comfy king sized bed and lovely shower. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were able to get some much needed relaxation after a long journey.

Reviewed By Tim VStayed here to go on a fishing trip the following morning (early morning). Sarah helped us out by providing the best breakfast I've potentially ever had in my young life. The most wonderful host a person could ever wish and the rooms were just stunning. Great atmosphere, perfect accomodation and absolutely amazing service. I wish we could've stayed longer because the beds were so comfy! Really enjoyable and although we have had a short time with Sarah, the time spent was amazing and I'll definitely be returning here soon. Overall a 6/5 experience!!!

Beautiful tranquil special
Reviewed By tashbrinkI phoned Lizbe very late on Friday afternoon because our booking in Arniston went awry (double booked) -she was amazing! So friendly even though it was so late assured me she could help and directed us to the beautiful tranquil setting where Guillaume quickly and efficiently helped us. To our wonderful surprise -we were very glad our booking was messed up! What a gem to find! Not just Beautiful but with everything you need! Thank you for saving our weekend away! We would definitely return to rest and enjoy the views, excellent service and friendly help!

The name inspired by the MOST SOUTHERN TIP of AFRICA - where two oceans meet - Zuidste Huisie is a fully equipped self catering cottage which forms part of a village of scarlet white Fisherman cottages set of amongst turquoise blue waters. 150m across the boardwalk, awaits the longest uninterrupted beach of 24 km. Undoubtedly worthwhile exploring !
Schöne Idee, aber....
Reviewed By Victoria4586...leider war der Rest nicht schön! Das Cottage ist einer sehr großen Ferienanlage gelegen. Der Weg zum Strand ist kurz und die Einrichtung im Vintage Stil viel versprechend und augenscheinlich gemütlich. Leider war es aber dreckig. In beiden Bädern konnten diverse Haare von vorherigen Gästen (auf der Toilettenbrille, Badewannenrand und auch in der Wanne sowie eine ganze Sammlung auf dem Abfluss der Dusche) gefunden werden. Die Haustür klemmte stark und konnte nur schwieirg geschlossen werden. Die Dusche funktionierte nur sehr eingeschränkt. Der Duschkopf war so verkalkt, dass fast kein Wasser mehr heraus gekommen ist - trotz umgelegten Hebel an der Mischarmatur. Das im Bad an der Decke Schimmelspuren zu finden sind, mag der feuchten Seeluft geschuldet sein. Das kein Klarspüler bereit steht und alle Gläser Kalkränder haben ist auch eher unschön. Der Gesamteindruck war nicht zum wohl fühlen. Schade, wir hatten uns auf Basis der Beschreibung und auch des Preises mehr erhofft und wurden sehr enttäuscht.
