Reviewed By Destination560991The villa was extremely clean and well presented. The two bedroom villa is spacious and modern. We were greeted by the owner who is very informative and knowledgeable about the local area. It is an easy walk to restaurants, pub, and jetty. The ice cream left in the freezer was a very thoughtful surprise.

Reviewed By MatandSueFishThe Discovery Park at Streaky Bay at first glance seemed a little tired. But on staying there it turned out to be quite a comfortable place to rest up. The cabin was right on the water and the sunset from the outdoor setting was beautiful. There is a lovely walk along the beach into town and a couple of really good restaurants nearby. The kiosk at the park does sensational fish and chips if you don’t want to venture too far. Would definitely stay here again.

The hidden gems in Streaky Bay
Reviewed By CycloneTracy1975Took a family vacation locally this New Year due to unpredictability of Covid. I have 3 boys aged 10 & 9. I was worried as I had to keep kids from getting bored, I didn't need to worry. It was a great drive, yes we had to travel a few hours, it was worth every hour!! Beachsude & Jetty View Aparatments is private, hidden away and I have taken a photo from the outdoor table of our view. Kids can throw a rock and hit the water. The owners were great, friendly and provided detailed info on how you find the place. Then you open the apartment, it is huge, very spacious, has everything including a deep standalone freezer (for the blokes who may fish while they're here). There is a table that can handle 6 inside, you won't use it, as every meal we had was eaten outside. They put fresh flowers in most rooms as an added personable touch. What did we do whole we were here, there were rock pools to explore, whistling rocks with blowholes and the best surf beaches. The kids can jump off the jetty and swim out to the pontoon. While the wind can pick up, it didn't prevent us from doing a thing. We had a ball, I highly recommend staying here. As for Beachside & Jetty View Apartments, it is the hidden gem of Streaky Bay. You just sit there looking at the ocean and Jetty & can see the kids from the patio.
