I visited in the evening when the restaurant was less than one quarter full, and was shown to a table facing two huge LCD TV screens playing 'Hippo TV', the in-house channel. Not funny. Film reviews repeated over and over, and lots of Hippopotamus restaurant chain Public Relations videos. Feeling extravagant, I ordered a glass of champagne, a portion of fois gras to begin, and then lamb chops with green beans and fries. I must point out, this is not an intimate French restaurant, it is a huge building, and caters more for the en mass lunchtime trade from the surrounding industrial and commercial estates, 250 covers in 2 hours. The champagne is proudly listed on the menu as Heidsieck, I received a glass of Vranken which is more a supermarket variety than a Grand Marque. The fois gras was cold, straight from the fridge, and therefore not creamy and full of flavour. The toast which arrived with it was charred and burned. The lamb chops were tiny, but the vegetables were OK. I felt uncomfortable the whole time, as the waiting staff were, I feel, unduly brisk, often literally running around, not just walking quickly, I felt rushed and needless to say, on the whole, dissatisfied with my visit. OK for a very quick visit if you are in a hurry, otherwise expensive indigestion.

Had a salmon in Riesling sauce, and was delicious.Very trendy restaurant. Staff treats you in a very family way. restaurant is very modern , very central located. Would repeat.

Un accueil rapide et agréable ce vendredi 25 octobre 2019 à 13h00.Une prise de commande également rapide.Une entrecôte fera l'affaire. La cuisson est "presque" saignante. Presque, parce que pas à mon goût un poil trop cuite !Je n'ai pas le temps donc non signalé.Pour ce qui est du goût de cette pièce de viande, elle est très moyenne et pas très bien taillé dans son morceau d'origine (fine à une extrémité et trop épaisse de l'autre)Les pommes frites sont correcte et la salade avec sa vinaigrette industriel est correct.Globalement satisfait de ce rapide déjeuner.Courte Paille au dessus de la moyenne. Cependant des points doivent être améliorer.
