After 3 days of trekking in Sumava Mountains and on the way back home we have made the stopover in Strakonaice for the lunch. We have found very nice restaurant with typical Czech cuisine, very kind staff and very friendly atmosphere. Thank you

Spent a Czech holiday walking around the mansion and touring the village and stopped to eat at this restaurant. Ate here once before and remember the service was excellent. Sometimes tourists have to be careful about eating at the Czech Restaurants in the tourist areas but found no fault with this one. Good pork dishes and good service. My wife speaks Czech so that definitely helps. Bathrooms were clean as usual in the Czech Republic outside of Prague.

I visited this restaurant in January 2017 during my trip to Šumava and had a lunch here. The reason to visit this place was that this village (Hoštice) is very popular from Czech movies. When we entered the restaurant we could see clean dining room with pictures from the movies. Some details are the same as seen in the movie. The staff in the restaurant was kind and nice, we had daily menu, which was pork knee with dumplings and cabbage. Meal was very good, nice price and nice atmosphere. It is suitable for fans of the movie and of course for ... hungry :-)

Skvělá restaurace, hezké prostředí, milý lidé, ale hlavně výborné jídlo. Je vidět, že pana kuchaře vařit baví. Určitě přijdeme zas ☺️
