Self-service com comida a kilo. Chegamos em um domingo, as 14h, e mesmo assim encontramos comida quentinha e com várias opções, tanto de comidas tÃpicas, quanto opções como arroz integral, frango grelhado e saladas.Comida muito boa e muito bem temperada, com gosto de comida caseira. Ambiente familiar, bom atendimento e preço justo, além de ser de fácil acesso, recomendo!

Very nice view over Salvador and the bay. Staff and owner very friendly, Tipical food from Bahia and some french specialities, home made bred. Try the "mariscada grelhada" mix of grilled sea foods, great "moquecas" and so on. Would like to stat more to try the all menu.

Um bom para degustar de pratos de frutos do mar. Variedade de pratos e preços convidativos. O ambiente não é lá grande coisa, mas o atendimento é muito bom.

We ate at Portal das Aguas 2 years ago and went back last month during our trip to Salvador, Brazil. This restaurant is situated in Itaparica island, in the marina with tables overlooking the sea. They have a varied menu of traditional Bahian food, mainly seafood fresh and delicious, also beef and poultry in the menu. My partner chose a dish of king prawns cooked in coconut flakes and sauce and I had some fried sliced white fish with vegetables and both dishes were delicious. We were there in the middle of week both times, so it was very quiet and the service was excellent, so we have no experience of eating there at the weekend when we heard it is really busy. We had our meals at lunch time while waiting to go to the Ferryboat terminal to catch our boat back to Salvador. It was lovely to eat watching the pretty fish swiming and playing. Highly reccomended, we will be going back.

We've arrived thru Escuna. Cool trip, but guys in small boats asking for money is really unpleasant. Beach is good, calm. Food in Manguezal is really good, fair price, Cupuaçu juice is fantastic. I totally recommend their lunch. Unfortunately there were too many bees all over the place. If you're allergic, be careful.
