I ate here for breakfast awhile ago, but forgot to review. I had the breakfast platter of eggs, sausage, and toast. The sausage, though tasty, was overcooked to the point of dryness. The eggs, on the other hand were order sunny side up, and they came, basically broken from the shells and slightly warmed up -- no part of the egg was completely cooked. For what I paid for a breakfast that would have cost half that in most other restaurants, I have never been back.
On the positive side, I hear wonderful things about the restaurant. I hope so, because if all experiences were like mine, it would have folded months ago.
I DO need to give it another try though.

They serve good food. Just be careful if you want to order it different from menu. Say for instance; if you order your drink without ice be prepared for an additional charge. I ordered a burger without cheese. I was told that I would be charged extra to NOT put cheese on my burger. I asked if I could get it on thr side, they said unlrs it's on the burger there is an additional charge. Their food is good but not worth all the extra charges to get it the way I prefer it. I just go to other local resturants that are willing to accommidate without extra charges.

While promising from the outside, and often frequented by the locals, the food served is at best fair. The corn bread was extremely oily; the fired chicken was overcooked; and the sweet potato fries were limp and tasteless.

When in town or near Stanford Kentucky, or just a little hot outside, make sure you get some ice cream from these wonderful people. The ice cream is top notch and affordable.
The gift shop has some wonderful Kentucky based items also.
Service is family oriented and friendly

This is the closest restaurant to our house and we refuse to eat here anymore. Staff is good but food is not- unless you love salt. No matter what you order, it all tastes the same. How is that even possible? Drive on for a better meal.

June 19 was 1/2 price shakes all day long, but they are 1/2 price after 8:00pm. Great tasting onion rings and the chopped onions on the burgers add extra flavor. Oreo cookie milkshakes are tasty. Order the mini or small size, so you can order several different flavors .

Everyone is always pleasant and they prepare your sub like you ask. The salads are prepared fresh and they give you a large portion for the price. The atmosphere is ok and usually clean in the dinning area but I always get mine to go.

I always know that what I order at McDonald’s will b good and taste just like it always has. For breakfast I like the yogurt and fruit and I love their salads for lunch. I also get senior coffee for 71 cents.

This was one place that was close to the hotel I was staying at and not wanting to drive far to get something to eat we stopped here.
One two customers in front of me and they could not get a simple order correct. Items paid for were missing from my order. The bad part was I was back at the hotel before I realized this and did not feel like driving back.
Just check your order before you leave the joint.
