Three Magpies

Reviewed By DebbieonDawson

We discovered this ancient pub on our last trip to England. The location on Bath road is walkable from the Ibis styles and other hotels on hotel strip. Or there is a free local bus from Heathrow bus terminal and between the hotels. Do a search on tfl.com for heathrow free bus service. Its different than the Hoppa bus which is not free. It was the third stop on the local bus. Get off at Ibis styles then walk across the street with the light. The food is homemade, economical, and delicious. The surroundings are pleasant. You find a table, choose from the menu, then order at the bar. We have had leg of lamb with roast veg, lasagne, and fish n chips. All were excellent. Many of the meals are on their 2/11.99 weeknight menu. I particularly like their lower alcohol Ale called Speckled hen. Just dont tell everyone or next time we wont be able to find a table!Hi DebbieonDawson, Thank you for your wonderful review I am glad you enjoyed the food. We have just had a new menu and it is great to hear that you enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing you again soon.RegardsTim

London's Pride

Jetting out of London means leaving behind one of the capital’s greatest treasures – Fuller’s beer. But thanks to London’s Pride, Fuller’s inaugural airside pub, passengers at Heathrow Terminal 2 can now enjoy the brewery’s famous ales, food and service r

The Rising Sun Pub, Stanwell

Reviewed By bunsilal

Served its 3 fold purpose. Mainly watching the Spurs V Arsenal lunchtime game whilst waiting for my son’s plane to come in at terminal 4 and have some food and drink whilst doing so. Staff were very friendly and although it seemed a local estate pub all the people there were friendly enough. The pub needs a makeover but had a good atmosphere. Food tbh wasn’t great. Reminded me of school dinners but it wasn’t extortionate and it served a purpose. If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely revisit.
